Surrey Daredevils!?

It seems that the Dehli Daredevils are looking to form a similar franchise with a county team as Rajastan and Hampshire have done.

With KP being some sort of ambassador for the Delhi team, then this could make a union with Surrey a distinct possibility according to the Telegraph, and I know the Surrey marketing boys are unlikely not to jump on such an opportunity if offered.

What are peoples thoughts about this?

Personally I was sad when we dropped 'Brown Caps' from our name, let alone adopting 'Daredevils,' I would also be disappointed if we had to change our kits in the shorter formats. Although obviously there are important issues of integrity to consider too.

Money I guess would be the main benefit of such an association. Like it or not the Indian IPL boys are where the money is at. Could be a good move.

I'm sure if Pietersen is involved, he will have nothing but Surrey's and the game's interests at heart.

If we become the Daredevils that probably means Hyphen and Roy will attempt to hit every ball for 6 when opening on a seaming pitch in Div 1 cc matches .
