make that 5 down, Shoiaib Malik tries to chip one into the space at wide long-on but gets it wrong and sends it straight down the throat of Bairstow at deep mid-wicket.

daft shot from Misbah there, surely just knocking the ball for a single and giving the strike to Afridi would have been sensible. Fine catch from Bairstow, who really is an excellent fielder. Swann excellent again.

well done Bopara! kept his nerve there, bowled a slower one and Hammad could only hit it straight up, Buttler did well to compose himself under that one. Pakistan need 53 from 27, but with just three wickets left.

Gul with a couple of lusty blows before top-edging Finn straight up into the air for Kieswetter to take the catch. Pakistan need 40 off 20, two wickets left.

Bairstow was absolutely fantastic yesterday, he hits the ball so so hard, has a level head and looked completely at ease. A future star for sure.
