Who should start against Italy at 10?
Halfpenny to take the touch kicks from now on?
I still believe in Rhys Priestland and I think the occassion got the better of him, but credit to Wales for winning at HQ with a misfiring 10. How much better would Hook or Jones have done though? Does Hook now deserve a chance to start against Italy because of Priestland's performance?
In defence of Priestland, getting himself sin binned saved an English try. Anyone remember the Martyn Williams trip in Croke Park? It won the match.
Whoever gets picked I think it's time we gave ALL kicking duties to Halfpenny. He has the biggest and most accurate boot and we can't afford any more unforced errors and silly mistakes.

The title say Halpenny to take touch line kicks from now on?
In my opinion who ever is your teams main goal kicker, should be the one that takes the touch line kicks.
We all seen what happend/ used to happen what Stephen Jones was the fly half (main goal kicker) and them Lee Byrne used to come and make a right mess of it, by trying to kick to long.

Hook has had many many worse games than RP had yesterday and was never dropped, Jones has had his day.

Nah the best kicker out of hand should take the kicks to touch.
Halfpenny doesn't have the greatest technique.

Preistland is a better touch kicker, Halfpenny is a better place kicker
Halfpenny looked a bit like a winger playing FB yesterday, and didn't kick as much as he probably should have.
Preistland had 1 bad game, and will learn from it - Hook has had many bad games, and hasn't learnt from it.

Have to correct you there FHF. Hook NEVER played worse at 10 than Priestland did yesterday. That was the poorest performance by a Welsh 10, in a meaningful game, of the professional era. However bad Hook was, and he had a few shockers, at least he could run fast and kick the ball a long way out of hand.
Having said that, Priestland has to remain first choice for the rest of the tournament - it's too late to chop and change now.
Long term though, who plays 10 is the biggest issue facing Wales now.

Hook threw away a perfectly winnable game against South Africa and also the France match in 2010 with his wild idiotic interceptions. Not to mention the amount of games he's been terrible with the boot or missed easy tackles.
Tovey deserves some sort of involvment.

You can add to that perhaps the worst game a 10 could have played when Australia destroyed you in 2007 by something like 42 points
MR F you need to watch the games MUN !!!

How about 1/2 p to take the throw ins to the line out whilst we're at it and perhaps the feed into the scrum

RP miissed two penalty kicks to touch - criminal - insted of pressuring England we're back in our own half!
However, I'd still keep him a 10!!!!
