Tom Biggs for England
This guy is showing the sort of form that deserves a call up to the EPS, far more talented than Ashton.
I'd play him against France no worries, I'd also play Sharples but I guess will have to make do with the out of form show pony that is Ashton.
C'mon Stuart you know what Biggs can do, take a chance on him.

Does seem to be a glut of good young wingers in the AP at the moment. I can see selection being the defining element in SL's career. How well will England manage it's assets?

Possibly a good shout there. I just read Steve James in the toryograph.
Good news for us is that while many myself included have called for Garvey to replace Lawes - Attwood put in a "towering performance" to take MOM for Bath.
Apparently Jake Abbott (24) is a superb specialist 7 and young Heathcote playing 10 for Bath looks the goods.
This is all welcome news along with the possible return to some semblance of form for Youngs and Flood albeit on the armchair ride the leicester pack gave them.
Nice to see Wood make a return.
Charlie Hodgson put in an assured performance for Sarries and the only bad news for England supporters is that Simpson did his shoulder and Care has been an idiot again.
A new thread "England player watch" ??

I said the same thing about two weeks ago and was told he wasn't good enough. Totally disagree with that by the way

I don't see it. Firstly I just don't think he's international quality, he's not particularly significant in a number of areas of play, he'd get smashed at international level, there are a number of wingers better than him and 3 tries in 15 AP games this season is far from noteworthy.
Then there is the matter of his haircuts, which are unacceptable, let alone in an England shirt.

I'd take any of:
Benjamin
Thompson
Wade
May
Yarde
Stegmann
Smith
Over him.
Or actually I'd choose Joseph on the wing as 13 is looking taken.

But his long blonde hair would look great on the wing for England.

Re: Tom Biggs for England
He is in great form this season, even looking good while playing for a side that hasn't really fired. I can't see any England coach being brave enough to go for a little 'un, but surely he has earned a Saxons spot? Biggs is in better form than both Monye and Banahan who both got a run out against Ireland A.

yeah England need a bit of the old Duckham affect. Biggs would definitely bring that

To play with that lot, I am sure Peter Richards would lace the boots up again.

Re: Tom Biggs for England
Biggs is awesome on the wing but this long list of "maybe" players is getting ridiculous now. I don't envy SL as it will take ages to settle on a definite XV.
Giving me a headache already.
