good to see him back in the AP.

Ioane 5 week ban, very bad news for pete at such a crucial time, quality player.

Big blow that, he's Pete's best back 3 player. Think he'll be back HC semi looking at fixtures.

Cips could be very good at Sale, as looks like they are trying to create a big, powerful pack.

With the new rules on salary caps I wonder which clubs will be able to afford a big player? Guessing Saints (who have been turned down by Narroway and Jonathan Davies), Bath, Quins, Sarries, Tigers and definitely Sale.

Am waiting for news on new Wasps owners - think we will become quite a rich club from the sounds of it, espc if we get the Saudi owners - trouble is we are making a few odd signings, we must have 7 first team centres now!

Was going to play Ioane at 13 this week as I have Trinder injured and Ranger banned. looks like I am going to have to throw Davies straight back in.

Don't think that will be too big an issue Pete.
Is on good form and backs won't get marked down for fatigue as much as forwards. Could always put Homer there!!!

Yeah, not so bad with it being a back, and he will come in on a high having just won a Grand Slam.

Meant to be a good ball carrier, judging by Saints scouting team I dont think he's going to be bad.

Saints and Tigers are both very good at picking up good foreign players - though think Saints expected to sign both Narroway and Jonathan Davies. Reckon they will sign someone big.

Matt is in hospital but still finds time to have a pop! lol

I think you need to retract that comment Matt as it was Planet Rugby's team of the 6N and not mine Very Happy

Amusing.

How the hell did Ross Rennie not get in planet rugbys side.

The times pick their lions team based on 6n today

Backrow of 6lydiate 7warbs 8 Denton

For me it could work but think I would rather see ferris and heaslip in it. Denton looks some player but think he may find out like faletau that it's a lot harder in your second season. Think faletau could well end up a player who plays anywhere in the back row rather than a specialist 8. A kind of welsh sob

Sick of reading about Lions lineups tbh, seen one every week since 2009.

A lot can happen in a year. Denton/Rennie were hardly on the scene 6 months ago.

Lydiate won player of the 6N. fair call for me.
I think i read Sexton came 2nd in the votes which is ridiculous. for me he did nothing of note and bowe, halfpenny, jones, cole, corbs, parisse, jenkins, davies, to name a few, all had better tournaments.

Gray is the standout.
Morgan will be great for Glos.
Irish have lacked a quality 9 for a while so TOL should really help. Brian Smith making an immediate impact.

Lee Thomas is a great signing for Wasps. Get a great centre with a brilliant all round game as well as a very decent goal kicker.

Thomas is a good signing, but at same time a bit of an odd one for us as we have Waldouck, Flutey, Bell, Daly, Robinson etc. We do need a powerful winger.

Going to have a decent team next year I think.

Does the Japan league have a 3 foreign player limit per team/match day squad? Am sure I read that somewhere, which is something that will stop that league from being of a really high standard - great players over there.

Mallets interview wasn't the best it's say apparently he came across as thinking he was the best man and super egoed where as Lancaster is quite the opposite.

Be interesting to see whether the RFU go for Mallet and his Iron fist or Lancaster and his player trust approach.
