Barcelona 2 - 1 Bayern Munich
Messi (2) --------- Kroos

Barcelona started with an attacking formation and it looked effective as Messi scored the first with ease but Bayern played great counter-attack and exposed Barca's loose defence. Kroos with a stinger and Bayern kept plugging away. Second half Barca decided to play it simpler and when Iniesta found Messi 1-on-1...well you know the rest.
---------------
Liverpool 0 - 1 AC Milan
------------------ Tevez

Milan were reliant on Tevez has he took the game to Liverpool as they were stubborn but very hardworking. Milan pressed hard but Liverpool were stronger. Eventually Tevez decided that he was going to do this alone and took several players before steering his shot bottom left corner for a great winner
----------------------
Juventus 0 - 1 Man Utd
------------------- Ibrahimovic

Ibra proved to be difference as he only had one chance throughout the game whereas Wallcott had a few but failed to score. Ibra was put through and he curled his shot perfectly past the keeper. Juve are unlucky not to get anything as they were the better side but not all better sides win unfortunately.
------------------------
Real Madrid 1 - 0 Arsenal
Ronaldo

A fabulous pass from Villa enabled Ronaldo to jink pass the keeper and slot home the winner in this tight game. Earlier Goetze smashed the bar after great play from Vidal. Madrid remained patient and got their just deserves after penetrating Arsenal after the break. It could have ended in a draw but for a brilliant pass from Villa

Barcelona 0 - 0 Bayern

Bayern were delighted to earn a point at the Nou Camp as a crowded midfield made chances hard to come by. Bayern worked tirelessly and when Barca did threaten, Neuer was there to make the save. Bayern threatened themselves but Barca kept them at bay.

Liverpool 0 - 1 AC Milan
---------------- Drogba

Not too much in this but Milan were stronger overall and their more experienced side were able to grind out a vital win.

Chelsea 0 - 1 Spurs
-------------- Llorente

Injury hit Chelsea fell to a home defeat in this local derby. Spurs had the edge in midfieldand this allowed them to control the tempo of the match. A set piece goal was enough to take the points and leave the home fans fuming.

The same to happen irl this coming weekend no doubt. mad

Juve 0 - 1 Man Utd
----------- Kaka

Juve worked hard and are well organised but they fell short against a stronger Utd team who had too much in the end. A delightful move saw Kaka put though on goal and he finished coolly.

Real Madrid 1 - 0 Arsenal
Ronaldo

Arsenal continue to strengthen but Real remain the stronger outfit at present and despite both sides creating chances it wA a single strike from Ronaldo that separated the sides in the end.

Barcelona 0-1 Bayern Munich
-----------------Robben
A surprise win away from home but this game was won on the wings by Munich with the pace and Robben scores after cutting inside.

Inter Milan 0-0 Manchester City
both teams cancel eachother out resulting in a draw

Liverpool 0-1 AC Milan
----------------Drogba
Liverpool were beaten on the wings and a great cross by Surridge was met by the head of Drogba for an unstoppable header.

Juventus 1-0 Manchester United
Ganso
The home team played well controlling the midfield and their defence took Ibrahimovic out of the game.

Real Madrid 1-1 Arsenal
Cazorla----------Schweinsteiger
Unfortunately for Arsenal Madrid took an early lead due to the pace on the wings, but with their midfield they kept the pressure up and scored an equaliser close to the final whistle.

Barcelona 0 - 2 Bayern
Falcao, Robben
Odd set up by Barca sticking Toulalan and Iniesta out on the wings Which I think badly backfires and Robben and Ribery capitalise down the wings against a 3 man defence setting up Falcao to slot home an easy goal, Robben then gets a 2nd on the counter.

Liverpool 1- 0 AC Milan
Huntelaar
Close game but the attacking force of Liverpool were too much for the ageing Milan defence and the inform huntelaar slotted home from the penalty spot deep in the 2nd half.

Chelsea 1- 2 Spurs
Soldado - Bale, Llorente
Big win for Spurs here but the injuries to Chelsea badly limit their chances upfront. Bale drifts inside for the opener and Llorente heads a second, Soldado gives the home team hope but Spurs hold on.

Juve 1-1 Man Utd
Ganso - Nani

A moment of magic from Ganso upstages his National teammate Kaka and separates the teams as he splits apart the usual solid Utd defence, Nani though hits a last minute equaliser and celebrates in style.

Inter 0 - 0 City
Both teams fail to create any moments of magic to separate the teams and they grind out a hard earned point

Post by The Special Juan Fri 23 Mar 2012, 4:41 pm

Barcelona 0-2 Bayern
Scarface, Robben

Interesting set up from Barca which backfires. With no pace on the wings at all, the Bayern wingers tear the defence to pieces.

Inter 1-0 City
Chivu

This Inter team has improved a lot since I've last seen it all over the park. A close game and not too much to call, a free-kick from Chivu being the difference.

Liverpool 1-1 AC
Huntelaar; Sturridge

AC are another team who have improved. I can see Lavezzi troubling the AC defence and setting up Huntelaar to put them ahead but AC have good firepower and they are good for a goal too.

Spurs 2-1 Chelsea
VDV x2; Podolski

Chelsea need to play Silva in the middle as that where he is most effective. Spurs are one of the strongest teams in the league on paper and the fact they play VDV in the middle is major difference in an otherwise close game.

Real 0-1 Arsenal
;Gomez

Real are playing Villa and Torres up front, 2 selfish strikers who would be good on their own but probably wouldn't work together. Gomez gives the Carvalho/Lucio pairing trouble all afternoon and efentually gets his goal.

Barcelona 0-1 Bayern Munich
Falcao

Odd set up by Barca was met with a strong solid set up by the home side. Evenly fought contest for periods of the game but Falcao with his a millionth goal of his career bagged the winner for the away side.

===
Inter 0-0 Man City

Nothing to write home about.

===
Liverpool 1-1 AC Milan
Huntelaar: Robinho (Gaitan? wtf!)

AC Milan will be happier of the 2 with a point. Home side wasted numerous chances. Kuyt playing out of position for me.

===
Chelsea 3-2 Spurs
Soldado (3): Llorente (2)

Battle of the Spanish strikers at the Bridge. Soldado scored one more than Llorente giving 3 points to the home side.

===
Juventus 1-2 Man Utd
Srna: Lamaprd, Ibrahimovic

Solid win for the away side. Juventus are tricky. A Lampard low drive and a thumping Ibra shot put the away side 2 up before a terrific curling effort from Srna made it a contest again but unfortunately the home side couldn't find an equaliser.
