It's Daily Mail so...y'know, but what does everyone make of this? Basically there have been threats made "by gangsters"

to shoot him during a live fight. Obviously nothing to laugh too hard about, but it does sound remarkably similar to the plot of a Nicholas Cage movie. Snake Eyes if I remember correctly.

Also, if anyone's ever read the book "Sweet and Tender Hooligan" that last line in the article is quite funny. Life immitating art, maybe?

What are the threats in relation to? Gambling/money?

To be honest shooting someone live on tv when they are competing in a smallish venue doesnt seem the most prudent way to go about "whacking" someone if you want to get away with it.
