Christian injured

Apparantly Christian is now injured and will not be appearing at Wrestlemania.

He aggrivated a neck injury.

Thoughts?

Where was he due to appear anyway? The Long v Ace tag match?

Not a huge loss. He has been out of the loop for a while.

Yep he was part of that, I think he's been replaced with McIntyre

I believe it is an angle that might lead to something down the line with Punk. That isn't to say he isn't legit hurt but the way he was put out of action suggests to me he'll be back later to intervene in Punk/Jericho or just to get at Punk.

I think he will still make an appearance, probably to intervene in that match. Possible Edge appearance in a non-wrestling capacity to save the day from Christian spoiling the match?

I forgot about Edge. He really has stayed away since his retirement hasn't he? Barely been talking at all about his HoF induction.

Punk was clearly targeting the neck area and I just don't think WWE would take that risk before Mania if Christian had any major role to play. Looks more like he is maybe being saved for something bigger down the line.
