6WF NXT (6NG) - Discussion Area

First topic message reminder :

After discussing the idea earlier over on the old 606 I thought I'd make a quick thread here.

With the recent influx of characters into 6WF I was thinking that it could be a good idea to set up a 6WF version of NXT where veteran promoers are partnered with newcomers in order to make joining less daunting and allow the us oldens to help newbies develop their promoing skills. This has been shown to work superbly by the COH storyline where Beer and Marshall were taken under Hero's wing and are now two of the best promoers we have! Also we could use it to adapt past characters, whose writers left e.g. Hellraiser, into useful jobbers/tag partners for people

After Shutdown results, the first Next Gen show will reveal the pairings, the rookie challenge, and matches for next week's Next Gen.

Dr Shoe will be replaced by Fernando's character. And as Marky has said the pairings will be revealed on Monday evening.

Are Cassius/Miss J one pro Demon?

I think its been decided that Cassius won't be one - as he's not the most accommodating of individuals. LOL. I might have him as an unintrested bystander in some shows by request (order) of Miss J.

To answer the above Miss Jessica is one of the pros with Cassius, Lex and Saint making occasional appearances. Likewise Hero is one of the pros but Clarke and Marshall will also make occasional appearances.

The list of pros and rookies will be revealed tomorrow!

Just go with it Brahma mate. Demon (Miss Jessica) is the best promoer in the 6WF, you've pulled a right result with your pro.

Will be interesting to work with JD. Does anyone know if he has a 606v2 account?

Also- do promos in the Next Gen card count towards anything or just to build up and can our final promo involve our mentors?

Storyline wise if The Scorpion and Miss Jessica win a shot at the Tag Titles, i'm sure Jessica would substitute someone from her group, either Lex, Cassius or Saint into the match.

The Rookie Challenge promo is the rookie doing a full promo, entrance to the ring and introducing themselves. You can get help from your pro to write it if required, but it is just your rookie on their own in the ring.

For the record, everyone's rookie challenge is PM'ed to gregers, he'll send all 7 to each pro, each pro votes on which is their favourite.

Next week's show will have all 7 promos, and the announcement of who won the immunity point, the results of the 2 matches. The we'll post the matches for next week + next week's rookie challenge!

More will be revealed about eliminations, but if anyone is eliminated, they will still be a part of 6WF, just out of the running in the competition. No-one gets eliminated or future endeavoured here

Few bits of business:
1) The elimination will take place on FRIDAY. If you are eliminated then your rookie challenge promo will be your leaving promo... As Marky already said when you are eliminated it is only from the 6NG competition. You will then move to the main roster and appear on Shutdown and Lockdown. Furthermore, you may well still appear on 6NG in matches
2) For people who don't know AberdeenSteve has very kindly stepped in and is acting as co-gm with me for 6NG matters
3) Can the pros make sure they message me with their votes. I havnt had all of them back this week which is annoying...

I haven't been able to promo this week due to personal issues, I also haven't sat and read the other promos this week i'm sorry to say, so I haven't voted. I will try and do so in the next couple of hours while Gregers writes the show up.
