I've always wondered that myself.

I'm guessing not. Horses aren't known for spending long periods lying down. It would be almost impossible to mend a broken leg without putting pressure on it, so i guess the most 'humane' thing to do is put it down.

Note to anyone brainy: If you can come up with a device that would stop this, you'd probably win a nobel prize.

He's an absolute ****.

Apparently, 'Derek' was supposed to come across as a comedy about a bit of a geek. Instead he spent half an hour appearing to take the pi** out of disabled and mentally handicapped people.

The advert was enough to put me off, it just looked awful, and I've not heard anything since thats made me want to watch it, plus my brother suffers from 'learning difficulties' as they say - so I've no intention of watching anything that takes the mick out of stuff like that
