the way ronnie has played carter will be pretty pleased with the 5-3 down. he will push on and is very pragnatic , things dont bother him and he will be positive. but the warning signs will be the next session- ronnies 2nd sessions have been at his fighting best so far

Yes he has , i thought the opening session was very good by both players Ronnie played great in the last 2 frames but until then Ali was right with him .

Yes i agree given the way Ronnie has played in the second session of matches so far he could easily win it 6 -2 or 5 -3 , and then i dont think Ali would win he'd grind away but dont think he would win

Yeah, Ronnie has won all his matches on the back of excellent second sessions. Will be very interesting to see if Carter can hang in there.

Exactly but he's not bloomin' taking them. That is the exact type of frame that someone like John Higgins would clear up to win.

It is ominous. Ronnie playing at level C- and Ali can't get the close frames. He MUST make this 7-5 if he wants to have a match.
