Another try, this is starting to look very easy now. Samoa is completely out of it, their defensive structure has fallen apart and they are falling off tackles left and right.

Saw a fist flying there from samoa, the scottish lock is just smiling at him, scrum 5 penalty to Scotland, taking another scrum.

Samoa picks and drives and the 6 from samoa again swings a fist, this time it coneected and I think this is going to be red, and yes it is.

Hard to beleive scotland is finishing in ninth place, another try and they are just romping the Samoans.

sorry mate, can't tell you, I have only been watching this bit, score was 36 for scotland when I started watching.

Free kick from a scrum, last move scotland just outside the 22, ball comes wide to the left, the Scota are playing with abandonement, there are no restirctions, try ofer in the corner, Leonard scores the last try.

Leonard has kicked beautifully from what I have seen.

LB, Scotland had 29 points on the board before Samoa scored the first time, they fought back to within 8 points but then the last 20 minutes discipline in the samoan ranks let them down, as soon as they realised the match is lost their defensive organisation went and they missed a truckload of penalties, the last straw was their number 6 who within 2 minutes swung his fist and was given a red card.

Scotland however played very well, they didn't get involved in the iggly stuff and focused on their game, they ran the ball wide often and scored tries from all over.

Beautiful game.

Their senior team should take head from this, forget the niggly and focus.

In twenty five minutes the Ireland vs France for 5th place play off starts as well as the Italy vs Fiji for 11 th place.

I will be watching the Ireland game, but give you updated scores on the other match.

France on attack early, attacking on the blindside inside the irsih 22, flyhalf gives the corner kick and ireland just manages to deny the score, 5 meter scrum after a bloody nose to one of the french forwards, irish put in, scrum taking an awefully long time to reset.

The Irish scrum has looked pretty good all tournament.

referee seems a little pedantic, scrums and line out are taking far too long, ireland loses another line out, france attacks, back inside the irish 22, slow ball, france drives on in midfield gets ball out quikcly, but france is stopped and irish kicks the ball out again.

France has most of the posession and ireland aren't gettting out of their half.

The irish kicking doesn't look like there is any purpose to it other than to kick it away

scrum irish, france pushes to early penalty kick and ireland kicks out, they win the ball and the bomb goes up, but frnace wins it and kicks the ball upfiled, it is now a kicking contest, eventually Ireland has won the terrtorial battel oly to again kick the ball away, france collects in their 22, irish lineout, outside french 22, their best field position yet

France back on attack, line out just outside irsih 22, sloppy tap there but france regathers and drive forward, lust inside the irish 22, grubber kick, Nelson collects and is driven into touch 5 meters out.

France not using their chances. they on attack again 10 meter line, not getting through the irish forwards, closing off a ruck and ireland gets a penalty.

Irish forwards once again very good that must have been 4 or so turnovers already and we are only on 20 minutes.

Hanrahan form the halfway line for a kick, 51 meters, great kick but just short.

both team are really poor on attack, forward passes, knock ons etc.

Ireland wins a lineout, but vey sloppy, was in good positio to atttack, but the frnech pressure in defence provides a forward pass and yet another scrum to france.

ireland gets another penalty for binding and this one closer about 43.567983 meters, right in front, head wind, hanarahan aims, he step, he fires, its OVER.

The Irish scrum is dominating but the French are dominating the lineout. Tight game so far that looks like it could still go either way.
