First week 3 result tonight - Morecambe 1 Crawley 1

I'm definitely the most happy with a point. Was evenly matched in the first half, but Marky dominated the second and was inches away with a chance at the end that hit the bar and came down just the wrong side (for him) of the line.

From my perspective, I think the subs made were the turning point. My new signings were creating a lot of problems for Crawley, until two of my midfield and my striker were subbed off. From then on, I had nothing in midfield and kept gifting the ball back to Marky.

Classic moment in the game, when two of my players ran into each other trying to defend from the LW, but then one stumbles into the winger and accidentally tackles him

In the bottom left corner towards the end of the first half, yeah laughed at that.

Summed up the game for me, Ikpeazu smashing the underside of the bar, and the rebound headed wide. Also felt my side were all mouth and no trousers at points, loads of good build up play but not that many attempts on goal from it.

I joined on 65mins and that was the only thing that happened in the last half hour.

Always amazes me the stupid passes that the 'legendary' AI plays. I was screaming at one of the players to play the ball wide to an open man, and instead he hoofed it forward towards two CBs up against some midget striker. Legendary my arris.

Mine have been set on long ball, but they only play it in the final third. Just suddenly swinging around and tanking it 40 yards across the pitch

I wish I had read the above before posting tactics trying out the long ball...

Well, I'm definitely getting a new backup keeper after that game. 2 goals conceded from 2 shots, both at the near post with the keeper standing right there!

Two major crimes committed last night.

Daylight robbery in the first, and then fraud in the second, Lincoln being passed off as a football team

Rof bouncing back from that opening day defeat with a BAM!

Irony is, Crawley beat Mansfield 6-1, unluckily draw the next two

Mansfield win their next two, now above Crawley in the league after 3 games

You were lucky to win by as many as you did in our game Marky, with it being one goal after 170 mins before the CPU took over so I’d call it karma 

I mean, I scored 3 in each half against you in the 6-1 so not sure where you're getting those figures from

I'm going to follow the Crewe / Hero approach by establishing a fully fledged nursery for all da kidz for the rest of this season

Are you forgetting i won 2-1 in the first game before a rematch and that 3 goals were scored in last ten mins

The first, irrelevant game played incorrectly? Oh yeah good point.

It's the one goal in 170 mins comment I'm querying, was actually four goals in 135 mins if you wanna bring that up

But more correct than the last 15 mins of our game that counted, 4 goals minus the 3 i scored equals one goal margin  I’m not disputing the result just pointing out that the score line flattered you by a couple goals!

I couldn't bring myself to watch the game, I'll have to comment on it later

Any suggestions on where to improve from those who did? Other than burn it with fire

You were easily trying to imply I didn't beat you in the first 170 mins which wasn't the case

Ok cool Marky, by as many as you did now translates to that even despite me clearly talking about margins....Talk about trying to read too much into something

I honestly think it was a freak result that will happen every week with the way that fifa plays. The one touch football coming from players id rank no better than s*** makes it look like Pep has had them in for his coaching and drug routine.

I'm glad you exercised the demons by handing out your own hammering anyway. Think Dolph is right, freak results will happen all season long.

Agree will definitely be a bit of freak about it, my players goals were from shots too good for them too. I’ve probably not seen enough to comment Bam, would have to watch again to be sure but I think I outnumbered or matched your defence for numbers when attacking at times

To echo the sentiments of my head coach Viva. In the first part of the game, until the equaliser, $ka's team played the best football of anyone I've seen in this league.

There was nearly a late equaliser too - it was a really good game which had my on tenterhooks. It's certainly made me think twice about getting rid of Forte in lawyers anyway! Or Jonathan Fort as he is known by the announcer.

Now that was a heartbreaking way to end my game

Watching the whole game, I felt I had the better chances, but a draw would have been a fairer result. 

Need to get the tactics altered this week!

Just watched my game. Fantastic save right on the stroke of half time by my Korean boy-wonder. And then my 5ft 3in Japanese teenager scores a header from 15 yards

Hero - I think you might need to rerun Bam's game as there appeared something weird going on during the game.

Coherent passing and the ability to defend? I too was stunned

I couldn't quite work out what was wrong, but Fluxy only scored once, so there must have been something going on

Goals conceded per game down to 3.75, on pace for over 100 goals this season !

Hang on, fluxy played an injured player. Might have to re-run it....
