16th Min - THIS GAME WONT STOP! Ikpeazu responds immediately, a first time left footed half volley on the edge of the area. Unstoppable. And the Uche train runs on both sides of the track. 2-1

21st Min - That train again! But it’s Grimsby’s Uche who squeezes a bear post effort in after some elaborate build up. Crawley were too deep, Uche had time to turn, but the keeper should be questioned. 3-1

28th - a birthday message from grandad plays out over the speakers for one special kid, and Grimsby win a corner. After clearances and tackles, the ball is back in the box and the keeper makes a fine save. Grimsby all over Crawley

I tuned in after 30mins and missed four goals

40th Min - Crawley defy my words and work a great move into the box. Thomas’s effort is blocked, the corner is poor but Crawley work a chance. One of the players does a header but they’re all really small and the keeper saved it anyway

HT - Grimsby are 3-1 up away from home but there’s only 10 seconds break

46th Min - Oh what a start! Castaignos hanmere one Home, a first time effort from 25 yards that beats the keeper all ends up, a weak hand barely even of Beadle strength. 4-1

55th minute and Crawley take off their goalscorer for someone who looks a bit sh*t.

59th minute - Luke Hendrie is subbed off as his team defend a corner. And I’m sad to find it wasn’t Lee Hendrie. Think Poleon has come in for the losers

66th Min and with only one goal in the last 20 minutes, some fans have chosen suicide. The touches and passing have got a bit crap, but Emily Smith Rower is on for Castaignos, showing that Grimsby think they’ve won

This was the 100th goal of the season. As a prize, Marky gets to buy himself, and wear with pride, a badge with 100 on it

I like that the goals haven’t dried up, entertaining so it is

I don’t think Hero’s poor keeper has made a save yet though in this one. Seems to be a theme of the high scoring games

The number has reduced. I’ve been keeping track on the file that does the table and the first 9 games averaged 5 goals a game, and since it is just over 3 a game

Getting better keepers in will be a big factor in that. I doubt my first choice keeper would have conceded at least 1 of the 2 I conceded last week, and that's only a jump from 60/1 to 67.

I’m waiting to buy one of about 5 keepers on my list, but my injuries keep meaning I have to use my foreign son other positions.

Yes, I was going to buy a new one this week but last week + injuries proved I need new fullbacks first. Kept thinking I'd found great cheap options only to see them already in the league.

Done that a few times too.

Managed to spend a bit more looking at the details stats of my players this week and how they rate on the ones I think are important for my style of play and formation. Has changed my opinion on a few of them but also flagged up some players who might be better suited to positions other than their official FIFA ones.
