Rain forecast for all 4 days at Northampton. Getting pretty fed up with this weather.

Harmison (injured) and McGrath make way for Adil Rashid and Richie Pyrah for Yorkshire who have won the toss and will bat first. Pyrah will make way for Tim Bresnan if he's not selected for the Test match tomorrow.

No batting points for Worcs against Sussex.
Lancs on a somewhat precarious 129 - 5 against Somerset....

Left work with Yorkshire on 170 odd for 2. Arrived home and they're 249 ao
Reminicent of last season. Every wicket chucked away bar one. Gale running Jaques out seems like the stupidest of the stupid.

Jaik Mickleburgh has scored a century for Essex this morning. I am telling you this because he also plays for my side, Horsford CC sometimes #shamelessplug

A quick look at matches affecting the basement end of Division One.
An intriguing and low scoring game at Liverpool as Lancs take on Somerset and look very slightly ahead at the end of day two, albeit not on points.
Meanwhile, at Hove, Worcs are being trounced by Sussex despite the usual best efforts of Alan Richardson.

Cracking effort from Glammy today. Down in the dumps first innings, Waters and Cosker put on a fantastic partnership to drag us to 208 all out.
Followed it up today with an outstanding performance with the ball, reducing Gloucester to 91-7 in their 1st innings.
Hopefully Glammy can wrap it up early tomorrow, no more than 120 then with about a 80 run lead, try and get aroun 250 second time around and then unless Gloucester can bat out of their skin, Glammy should have their second win of the season.

Martyr - yes, cracking effort by Glammy. Noticed the scores early doors and thougt the fat lady was clearing her throat for your boys. Tremendous turnaround!

I would go down and watch but the weather is so unpredictable that its not worth the trip to Swansea. After the first day, winning the toss and batting, and thought 'here we go again' when we were losing wickets left right and centre. Nice for Wright to dig in but it was the last pairing that has given us the upper hand.
Very impressed with Glover. Runs in like Glenn McGrath, almost a carbon copy of his action, pace and where he looks to bowl. Absolutely no where near that level obviously, but he keeps it very tight and bowls mid 80's which is decent. His figures were superb with 6-4-5-0, economy of just 0.80 or something.

Worcs hammered by Sussex and lose by an innings at the end of day 3.
Worcs take only 2 bowling points from the match.
Whilst the above is good news for Surrey at the basement end of Div One, lowly Lancs rather concerningly appear to have the upper hand against Somerset in a low scoring match at Liverpool.
Next week's Durham v Surrey match at the Riverside looks like it could be a 48 pointer!
Meanwhile, another pretty good day for Martyr as Glammy edge further ahead of Gloucs ....

Looks like a really tight finish in Lancs v Somerset. All results possible, including a draw if there are a few showers around tomorrow. Worcs well beaten.
