Champions League Group Stage Draw

As a refresher (this is from memory), 8 groups of 4 teams, each team in a group is selected from a pot. No team can be drawn against one from the same country, and only 2 teams from 1 country can be drawn in groups A-D and E-H for scheduling reasons

The Pots:
Pot One: Chelsea, Barcelona, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Arsenal, Porto, AC Milan.
Pot Two: Valencia, Benfica, Shakhtar Donetsk, Zenit St Petersburg, Schalke, Manchester City, Braga, Dynamo Kiev.
Pot Three: Olympiakos, Ajax, Anderlecht, Juventus, Spartak Moscow, Paris St Germain, Lille, Galatasaray.
Pot Four: Celtic, Borussia Dortmund, BATE Borisov, Dinamo Zagreb, CFR Cluj, Malaga, Montpellier, FC Nordsjaelland.

Man City being the only PL team to miss out on Pot 1

Best case scenario for the 3 teams in pot 1 probably looks like : PL team, Braga/Kiev, Anderlecht/Olympiakos, Anyone but Dortmund/Malaga/Montpellier
Worst case scenario being::: PL team, Valencia, Juve/PSG, Dortmund

Whereas for Man City, best would prob be Porto while worst one of the Spanish big 2.

I'm not saying the owners are the same as Abramovich its just a general question.

Managers come and go an are soon forgot. As Nass said Mourinho was god like but since his dismissal Chelsea have won a League and Cup double (Ancelotti) double and a Champions League (Di Matteo)

Mancini has done a very good job at Eastlands but his CL record with both them and Inter is awful.

Celtic and Chelsea have shown exactly how to defend against Barca. Flood the middle of the field, let them go wide, because they hardly ever put the ball in. Sit back, look to counter well, and take advantage of your set piece advantage you have. Simples

Fair play to celtic, hope they get over the line.

Chelsea showed how to get lucky, giving up 40 attempts on goal over 2 legs isn't good defending.

That Braga played well and deserved something from the game, Rooney dived for the penalty then fluked it in by playing it off his standing foot when slipping.

On a more serious note, what a surprise, we stop playing a winger at RB, 2 forwards in midfield and a winger/attacker at dm and we play better and get chances and goals.

Braga were pretty much in control and could have made it 2-0 with a few chances and plenty of breaks.

Glad to be through but major improvements needed if we are to have much chance in the knock out rounds.

Unbelievable night for Celtic, truly can't believe it, I go week in week out, never gave us a hope over the two games yet we beat them at home and came within 40 seconds of drawing in the Camp Nou, truly unbelievable
