Booker T's commentating

At first when I knew Booker T was going to be Smackdowns new color commentator I was happy I thought this was going to be a good move by WWE but it turns out that Booker T is really annoying he rants on about rudey poo for about 5 minutes.I don't mind Josh Matthews and Michael Coles heel turn has been quite funny,I say bring Booker back in the ring Smackdown could do with another commentator Bookers just getting plain annoying.I hope there will be a ring return soon.

At first I thought he was really annoying, but now I'm kind if used to it. Rather like Michael Cole - used to hate him but not so much anymore. I do, however agree that the commentary would be better without him. I would love to see Booker back in the ring and see what he is still capable of.

I like Booker's commentating; it's comical at times whether he means to be or not, plus his voice is actually less annoying than Striker's! At least he feins enthusiasm, besides he bigs up some of the younger WWE talent, which is good to see from a veteran, especially one that hasn't always worked in the WWE.

He's doing an excellent job. Loving his verbal-jousting with Cole, and to his credit, he's the only commentator not to have been buried by Cole so far.

At the end of the day he's just a Booker T........Book-er T. He's not your sucka.........suck-aaa.

I find him funny on Commentary, the little back and forth with Cole is good stuff.

I think he tries to hard to get his point across and shouts alot which is highly annoying...BRING BACK STRIKER

I agree. I preferred Striker to what Booker currently brings to the announce team.

I liked Striker - But i think he thinks he knows too much and thinks hes gods gift if i'm honest.

I like having ex wrestlers on the commentary team such as Booker, especially as he has more experience than Striker.

Booker can only be there for comedy value, he is so far behind what is going on in the ring it is brilliant. When Dusty Rhodes set up Rey is the best example, but he is like it every week!

He's great.

I think his announcing is great, he marks out, bigs up the talent and is far more enthusiastic

My problem with him is that he doesn't seem to know what is going on half the time.

Striker is the only commentator who I can picture saying so and so is an "Entertainer with tremendous athletic prowess", so for this reason, I'm glad Booker T is there, keeping it real.

That's what I love Legend! It seems like nobody has told him anything that is going to happen and all of his reactions are genuine.

Jerry Lawler never used to know what was going to happen when he worked with JR as he preferred to comment as he saw it, when they split them up tho he had to start finding out what was going to happen

I think Lawler is the worst they have at the moment, he just goes through the motions with his commentary and is probably paid good money to say very little of importance.

Now he's gotten back involved in the ring I think it's the ideal time to shift him away from the commentary table and into a management-role. If nothing else, his immense experience can be used to help bring through one of the youngsters and it just might motivate him into loving wrestling again.

Its like they only wanted Booker T back for the surprise value of the rumble entry and he roped them into a contract and seen as they have no use for him they've stuck him there till they can get rid....I hope anyway.

I don't mind him as a colour commentator. I can understand why people find him annoying, he's a bit over-excitable at times but brings in-ring experience that the others can't.
One of my favourite moments this year was when Vicki Guerrero was pleading for her job and Booker T was laughing in her face. Cracked me up.

I like Booker's commentary. However, I can agree with what some of you are saying about him being over excited. But he does bring the (more modern) in-ring experience to the table.
