Anyone catch this on Sky1 last night?

Decent first episode, and a good cast.

I watched it lastnight and was looking forward to it

I was a good first episode, much darker than Smallville but the acting was just as bad Laugh

I watched it last and thought it was quite good.

Also agree the acting is quite poor but it is darker than smallville so does give it a chance to be good.

Not a bad first ep, will watch again as they left many questions, one such as how is he this now bad a** ninja trained dude
Kind of batman esq in the having to act the playboy to put people off

only bad point when he got in the face of the bad guy surely only a hood isnt really a good enough disguise

He was a playboy in the comics as well and was made pretty much as a more political/social aware version of Batman

Decent enough second episode.

The ending was interesting.

Think it'll pan out to be a good show.
Hope so anyway, 2 episodes gone, have enjoyed both.

was an interesting ending but i can see it becoming boring as the series goes on with him just doing the same thing, killing people with arrows and then saying, 'you've been bad to the city' or whatever he says. Obvious that he's also going to get with that fit girl laurie or whatever her name is.

I think Sky have done a good job with their shows, i mean i watch strikeback & hawaii five-0 which are awesome and i will be checking out Last Resort tonight on the submarine thing.

I think we'll see a slight change in angle over the next few episodes John, I actually think that he has told his body guard what is going on hence the "Going out tonight Sir?" at the end.

Also the angle with his mother is pretty good.

Someone will find out soon who he really is i'm sure, family member or laurell? or his mate.

Next week or week after, hope they dont though.

I watched the second episode last night, its getting better by the week (well the story is anyway) I just hope the start to build up the big storyline quicker rather than have him week in week out crossing off names of poor villians at least there is some good news, the Huntress is to make her appearance soon

Im just wondering how his love interest (cant remember he name) didnt reconise him and she was standing 2 foot away and all he had was a crumie voice changer

What's with the boat in the factory unit as well ? I thought Colin Salmons character was going to be behind the accident but he looked shocked when he found it .

I think it's ok.

Agree that the disguise ain't the best.

Be interesting to see how his former bodyguard gets on now he knows his identity and has joined him.

Least they have had a few flash backs to the island.
The guy that found him spoke English anyway.
I've seen a lot better programmes to say the least, but will stick with it and see where it goes.

Its not a bad series and the overall story will keep me interested I think through the first season.

My only issue is with some of the terrible writing, that whole scene when he hands Laurel the document in her office with the lights down had some of the worst dialogue I've heard in a long time.

Thought last night's episode was one of the best so far.

Good bit on the island.
Interesting to see more on the guy who found Oliver, his background etc.

Also with his ex bodyguard taking over the role of the man in the green outfit was good.

Arrow, everyone. 'Ow you all doing?

Missed the pilot but am enjoying the other episodes I've seen so far. Wonder how much of the show's concept is down to committee of "stuff that has worked before" (e.g. superhero, desert island, flashbacks, love triangle, list to be worked down etc), but don't really care as it's been done very well I'd say. I kind of like the way the vigilante hasn't been given a name yet. "Hood" or "Arrow" is far better than "The Blur" anyway...

Having never read any of the books, am wondering if the mercenary with the two-colour mask (one side yellow, the other black) is from the DC Universe?

Decent episode again last night.

First episode that has focused mainly on the island.

Seeing new characters.
