Derren Brown Apocalypse

Did anyone else see Part 1 last night?

Truly outstanding. Basically, Derren Brown with a large cast of actors and special effects, and with permission of the guy's family, hypnotised this guy and place him in a hospital, where he believes the world is ending and is left in a "28 Days Later" style scenario, with the aim being to make him take responsibility, and make him realise how he takes his real life for granted. Part one was aired on Channel 4 last night and will be online on 4OD, I really, really recommend it.

I saw this and was thinking how brilliant it was.

The guy seriously looked like he was going to die from fright at one point!

Yeah I really enjoyed it. Thought it might be a bit crap like some of his more recent programmes(imo), I love his earlier stuff and went to see 1 of his shows which was terrific. Thought this was great, reminded me a bit of the film 'The Game'. Was interesting to see how somebody would really react in such a situation.

Superb show, great to see how he is trying to teach the bloke life skills through nearly scaring him to death.

There are rumours coming out at the guy is an actor, will be awful if true.

Rumours probably started by the same people who believe X Factor is actually rigged

Watched the 1st part of this this evening. Bloody brilliant! Must of cost an absolute fortune to put together. Eagerly looking forward to part 2!

Anybody watching this tonight? I really hope this guy isn't an actor, as this has been a really good show.

He's an amazing actor if true. But yeah, this has been brilliant so far.

Oh, and I seriously doubt he's an actor.

If he was an actor (have to be a brillant actor though as he played that role perfectly!) I'd be very dissapointed. Cracking show I have to say

I can't see him being an actor because he didn't react in the way most would expect him to react. He'd be a lot more dramatic if he was an actual actor I think.
