In rugby terms however we need to ban the banning of 'rucking' as it was......nothing speeds up the game like a gentle reminder that you shouldn't be there at the ruck!

Haha...well, I've known some pretty sharp studs...but seriously, the slowing down of the game at the breakdown is a problem.....dunno what you ban to help? Box kicks are shoite...and to an old forward like me mightily frustrating!

- The hit at the scrum - just set before ball is put in
- No pushing until ball is in scrum

Things which should be banned which wouldn't directly influence or change the way the game is played
-Whistle happy refs..
-Feeding at the scrum.
-The utter crap music they play after a score/at halftime.
-Cheerleaders (for the few matches/teams which have them).
-Stickmitts/match gloves. No particular reason other than I find them irritating.
-Pundits/commentators using football analogies/references.

True, but fewer and simpler laws will go a long way in improving consistency.

Silence should be banned during attempts at goal. I find that really spooky.

Cheerleaders should definitely be banned. Too American, sexist and re enforces the pressure that keeps teenage girls out of sport. Girls need to see women on a rugby pitch playing rugby and have them as their role model. Not cheerleaders. Idiotic thing for any sports organization not to see that.

I've been saying the same for years.

Ban interpretations by referees would help too.
