Why did Ryan Jones go off with his eye bleeding..?

Ryan Jones blatantly bleeding out of the sides of his eyes, looked very much like one of the visiting team had eye gouged him. He had the trade mark eye gouge eye bleed.

England may well get a win next week as half the kiwi team get banned.

I think it was just a knock to the head! he had 12 stitches put in at half time and he looked to be a bit groggy before being taken off so i dont think there was anything sinister.

I thought it was a cut above the eye. The physio was putting tape on it wasn't he?

He had blood coming out of his eyes on the tv coverage. In Italy where i wTched the game the commentators were incensed.

What's the trade mark eye gouge bleed? To be honest I'm not sure I've ever seen a player who's been gouged actually bleeding.

By all means supply the evidence but they're serious allegations to be throwing about.

Have a look at the point where Ryan jones goes down on one knee during the stop of play near the end of the first half, a medic comes on and Ryan's right eye is Wee weeing blood out of the corners. He goes off about two mins after.

There was a lot of Blood, but to a cut above the eye I think. Lets not jump on the bandwagon of Hores idiotic foul play and AWOP trying to get a rise out of everyone.

Soon after 35:20 on the game clock there's a ruck that Jones is very slow to get up from, but watching it I can't see how it's anything other than an accidental knock, and that's pretty much the only contact Jones was involved in between stoppages.

12 stitches to the face is very unlikely to have anything to do with an eye gouge.
