We're aiming at trying to get season 2 running after the christmas/new year break.

We're also looking for people to help out and step up with running the league next season, There's myself & Trebs and maybe one more who have discussed jobs we can each do but we need somebody who can collect votes and write up the match reports. Nobody's heard if Olly & GSC are going to continue the fine work they provided for the league either yet, so everything's still up in the air!

Also Nick, We're waiting to hear from you if your still interested in WWA. I honestly think you'd enjoy and have a lot of fun with it, it's clear to see you have a passion of both the wrestling & wwe product.

If your still unsure on how the league works, please just pop over to the WWA homepage and somebody can help with what ever questions you might have about the league.

I'd love to take part in this as a manager rather than a runner, I don't have the time for this. Enigma has explained pretty much everything.

February 1st (after the January transfer window) I will evaluate the situation.

Only just seen this, I prefer realistic leagues to fantasy leagues, so count me in if you kickstart this again

And I'm always happy to help out with the small bits (tables, top scorers etc).

Even if we started it now, setting up rules, pages, agreeing who's doing what etc would take us until near the end of the month. I think we could do it easily...

Agreed. Also we have to take into consideration idiots like CF who almost screwed the whole league up last time.

Hello all.

As I have said before, I am willing to do some of the ground work to get this league restarted. However, I do not have the time to run the league or anything. I'd take part as a manager and do something minor such as injuries. I am willing to write up a fixture list and do a couple of other things to get the ball rolling. Enigma has messaged me a few times and seems up for co-running. I think that somebody should work with him to lead this league.

I would suggest looking back at the league's failings the first time round and addressing them. There are a couple of things I think need to be done. A stricter foreign transfer window, and removal of the big four (Man United, Man City, Chelsea, Tottenham) and then use the rest of the teams to create a sixteen team league. Look at what happened before, the failings and how to prevent it happening again.

The league should start as soon as the current transfer window ends with as much of the set up as possible being done now.

I would be involved if you started it up

I think top 6 should come out - as Arsenal and Liverpool are miles ahead etc. That way less quality players to start with - so would take longer to build up to those types of player

Okay, let's get some ground rules in place:

- 14 teams, excluding Utd, City, Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool
- a 13 game season
- starting Monday 4 February

Let's get the 14 managers on board, then agree who wants to do what

Just to give everybody a little clarity on the situation.

Me & Trebs are in talks about the best possible way of how to manage the league going forward for next season and agreeing on between us, what tasks we both are capable of doing.

The rest of the tasks, will then be "Advertised" on here, it would then be down the rest of you to help assist with these tasks so the league can run as smoothly as possible.

Nick, not having a pop at you here mate.... but you did miss a fair few games last season with not submitting tactics, I mean you got relegated in the last game of the season against Stoke because of this

By all means if you want to take control of the league then I'm sure everybody wanting to be involved will back you and help support you with running it, including me

It wasn't that mate, only a case of trying to pin us down for a number of teams and start date. I prefer chipping in than being the gaffer, not being involved in the last league I didn't know who did what

Let us know what you want to do and when, and we'll fill up those spots quick smart.

I'm in the same situation as you, I would prefer to chip in and help with running the league than being the gaffer. If you want to get a sign up thread sorted, then let's get it done. Would be good to get an idea of what numbers we can get for Season 2

The thing is, the people that ran the league last season have no interest in returning for a second. Trebs was in charge for half the season, this whole league was his project, but has he said, he can't really afford the time to run a league at the moment. I'm also not 100% who did what in certain areas or all the tasks involved to run the league as smooth as possible.

Well tomorrow I'll set up a page and we'll go from there then. People can leave feedback on how things went well/badly the first time round, so we can keep the good points and fix the mistakes second time round.
