Very enjoyable evening at the pub. Very impressed with Arsenal, entertaining game and in the end unlucky not to complete mission impossible. Yes they rode their luck at times, as expected. But full credit to Wenger and Arsenal football club. Strong end to the season for them, before discussing off the field matters at the end.

Arsenal restored pride and credit, so well done to them. If they had a better centre-forward rather than Giroud, who knows what may have happened?

Oh and I nearly forgot. There was a tackle on Rosicky last night, very similar to the one Nani did on Arbeloa. This one though on Rosicky didn't merit a red card, was it because it was a wrong decision last week?

probably more because it wasnt the same ref. I remember last year Barca got a penalty vs Milan for some shoving in the box. I have yet to see a Thread denanding more penalties for that.

The draw is happening. As a Madrid fan I sincerely hope we draw Malaga & Bayern draw Barca. That would be a dream!!
Barca proved me wrong this week, but I have not seen a less convincing defensive display in a 4-0 win. It was like any time Milan strung 10 passes together, holes popped up in their defence. A better team will punish them for this

Bayern have the biggest test then, as they have to get past Juventus who many see as the favourites for the whole thing. That is easily the biggest tie, Madrid would be very stupid to get knocked out against Galatasaray and Dortmund and Barca would hope to get through Malaga and PSG respectively, but they will be tricky.

Dortmund, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern semi's......can't complain with the draw, unlike the F.A Cup. Should be a cracking two legs between PSG & Messi.

I can't see Juve stopping them, or anyone for that matter. Now that they have numbers in their squad then they've got to go and win this title.

Blimey, Beckham is starting tonight for PSG against Barcelona! Didn't see that one coming.

Nope but I think he can do a job there. They'll need to be able to play some 'glory balls' if they want to beat Barca and also to keep possession. I still don't think there's many better passes of the ball than Beckham and if you can get 70 mins out of him then why not play him.

I don't really see why Beckham is playing. You need all 11 men when you play Barca and there isn't much left in those legs.

I have been a bit of a Barca (armchair fan) since visiting the Nou Camp back in 1992 and holding the European Cup as it was known then a few days after they beat Sampdoria 1-0 at Wembley. I had Koeman (number 4) on the back of my shirt as he was the goal scorer from a freekick. Therefore I am cheering on Barca. That and the fact I hate anything to do with the moneymaking brand that is known as David Beckham

Well done PSG, it may be an uphill task at the Nou Camp, but you showed fight and heart to the very end and have given yourselves a chance. Tonight has reminded me why I despise Barcelona, cheating, diving, playacting scum that they are - especially Sanchez who, if anyone breathes in his general direction, will do a triple twist with pike, complete with a roar of agony. Hilarious to see PSG's first goal was offside, that's what karma does to you Barcelona!

The other tie between Bayern-Juventus is probably already over, barring an improbable comeback.

Don't get the hatred for Barca, a club that brings through youth, owned by fans and installs an ethos of attractive football.
