Welcome to 606v2

As the Beebs effort closes down more and more have started to drift across to this, for me, the best of the rest.
when I came over i decided to stick with my Beeb name minus the "1", rather than choose ( as i would have preferred) a new, more appropriate name.
From those who post here i can see that several others have done the same, but i suspect that others have changed their name, are you one?
Not asking here for your Beeb name just if you were on as A.N.Other.
If you didn't change were you tempted, and if so what would your name be?

i was quite new to the old 606 and didnt post much, but as soo as i saw an advert for this place i came across and it is really good.
i just wish there were a few more rugby posters on her.

its up to you to tell the people you know on 606 about it.

I have tried running a few polls to gain interest (which hopefully worked) but I didnt finish the whole team of best evers - if someone wants to pick up the ball and run with it, be my guest.

the rugby section on 606 is one of the few that is still busy - get recruiting people!

I was on 606 briefly, but got too annoyed waiting for the moderators to let my posts through. By the time they ended up on the article everyone had moved on. v2 seems good so far, but posters are a bit thin on the ground. I was reading some articles on 606 earlier and plenty of posters plan to come here at the end of May - let's hope they come a bit sooner.

As a matter of interest - who were you on 606?

To be honest I can't remember what username I had. As I said I got sick of waiting to post, especially as I never have all that much time. I only ever used the account a handful of times and it now presumably sits idly passing the time waiting for its demise.

Phew! Thanks wales606. Nothing like some collapsing wave functions to make a cat feel better.

I'm one of the ones that comes on here a bit, I keep an eye out for articles, but I'm still using 606 mainly. Will easily start using this site all the time though when 606 does eventually close, and I know of a lot of other's who are going to do the same

Never watched it, so couldn't say. I was basing the name on the thought experiment and my interest in physics.
