For the record, there is likely to be No Star player bids, 4 lawyers (2 nominated and 2 random) which you will have to accept 3, and a boost in the TP limit to £18m

I player up to £18 million i'd be very happy with.

I don't like having the accept lawyers unless you can nominate players that can't be lawyered.

For example, I nominate two players.
My other two are Isco and Soldado and it cripples me
My other two are Albelda and Carroll and its fine

can we scrap the nations idea, dont like having restrictions on my squad

The nations idea will be reviewed once we know numbers.

On having to accept the lawyer, it adds a twist and everyone is in the same boat. It was mentioned about potentially being allowed to nominate 3 players who are protected from the lawyers offer.

Personally I am in favour of a free, random selection. I could get Tevez and Jovetic which would screw me as well, but that is part of the challenge of the game.

Note: the requirement to sell 3 out of 4 means that the players could be sold within the league instead of the lawyers offer, so you could get more money, or you could trade.

So we are doing what you said you wanted to avoid then and just upgrading in tp's.....

Not really because you would be having to sell 3 players, so has an element of downgrading, rather than just constant upgrading. The star player bit is separate IMO

I personally would have had no TP boost, no star players and 4 out of 5 enforced sales. This was the compromise I thought was discussed.

I am happy for everyone to discuss this further on the main page and come up with a more widely acceptable solution. I was just of the opinion that that is what had happened already and I was posting up the consensus.

id be happy to go with that and why 18m seems a rather random number

Based on it going up £0.5m every two weeks, and applying the same boost at the end of season 2 would leave the final TP limit at the end of season 3 as £27m. This seemed more reasonable, but no other reason than that.

My Excel spreadsheet told me that these would be the final TP limits if we boosted it up to each £0.5m gap

£31m seemed too high so £20m was ruled out, whilst less than £18m felt like it wasn't much of a boost to compensate for no star player bids.

Again, it is open for debate

19.5m seems the logical one really with it finishing at 30m to me anyway

I'm happy to do that. I only plumped with £18m as it was round millions and an even number

Mind you, whether we have star player bids is still open to debate. If we do, then there would be no TP limit boost I guess

I agree with 4 from 5 laywers, no choices in who gets/doesn't get lawyers.
But I would like star players.

On the teams we get rid of (if there are any) how about a draft of players?

I was thinking about an auction by PM so that is essentially the same thing isn't it?

And then any that don't go can just go back on the market

Maybe say that any star players are unavailable?

With season 2 lawyers, being able to put forward 2/3 players from your squad.
What happens if the player is out on loan?
Are you still able to put him up for lawyers?
