Well Joppy was no great shakes either, Haz, hence why he's never listed amongst the top half-dozen wins on Hopkins' ledger. Good, solid fighter but you didn't need to be a Middleweight of immense quality to beat him.

Anyway, I'm not trying to belittle Trinidad, more just pointing out that he was a career Welter, albeit a big one, and also that any transition from 'green' to 'complete' made by Hopkins, if we are to believe that there was one, had taken place long before he got hold of Tito, for my money.
