So, a day after trading our best WR, we release our best corner in Winfield! Although, he is 36 and he'd have a 7.25 million cap number... Hopefully we re-sign him to a lower contract, he's still got something left in the tank imo

I'm not going to be happy if we give him over $10m a year... However will atleast be glad we have somebody capable of playing OLB in the new scheme, as the only other option is Sheard and he's never played there before.

His asking price was 11 per I heard. if he has a deal already I'd surprised if that number is going down.

D'you know I'm feelin kinda oddly pleased that the Redskins aren't going to he part of this early FA frenzy when I see the money being thrown at Wallace and Kruger. Too many bad memories of the Fat Al, Jeff George and Neon Deion days coming flooding back!

Woohoo!! Big Redskins news......... we've re-signed Sav Rocca!

I'm genuinely pleased about this. We've had a lot of problems at Punter before Rocca came in. He had a good season last year and helped us get a lot of good field position. I'm pleased at the job we're doing so far at keeping last season's team together. If we could somehow keep Alexander and Davis or even just one of them on board then I'd be pretty content with our offseason to this point.

Upshaw really isnt much of a downgrade on Kruger, and Suggs and Ngata return healthy. Maualuga would be a target I suspect, and Manti T'eo makes a lot more sense as a guy who can step in day 1.

Some context to the Dolphins moves, GM Jeff Ireland is in a do or die year.

No idea what the Chargers are doing.

And as much as it hurts Baltimore, its the same philosophy of Ozzie Newsome's that has seen them win 2 SBs. Pay up to their valuation and stick to the draft board. Winners in March are rarely winners in January
