Pretty straight forward, this is actually the most detail on a contract situation I've every seen Kraft, or anyone in the Patriots organization, provide.

Welker and his agent, David Dunn, misjudged his market value and when the Patriots thought it was unlikely Welker would be back they moved on to other targets, simples.

More importantly for the draft the Jaguars are meeting up with him. That means if the Browns, Bills or Eagles want him they may have to deal with the Chiefs and take the number one pick.

He is joining the Colts on a two year deal while Ryan Fitzpatrick takes his old job with the Titans on a similar deal.

I think Khaseem Greene (Rutgers) would be a great fit for the Bears. He is always around the ball making plays.
