Halloween or Friday the 13th ????

Which franchise do you prefer........I think Pleasance and Curtis and higher production values...have given Halloween a kind of step up in class.........However some films like resurrection have stunk much worse than the alternative..........

Me I'd shade it to Halloween but If I was ranking a top 10 it would be..........(Hate the remakes)....

Its amazing how similar Friday the 13th part 2 is to the Burning, which is superior.

I like the guy in the lead role.........He was in Creepshow and one of my favorites the Fog....Tom something...

Didn't particularly like it..........Often considered buying one of them "masks" for Rob though...when he's moaning.

Halloween, Halloween 2 are far superior to any of the Friday 13th films and Halloween H20 is better than all of the 13th sequels and spin-offs. Halloween by a fair distance!

It was Tom Atkins who was also the star of the film I have been banging on about - Night of the Creeps.

He plays the everyman role brilliantly.

To answer your question, Halloween every day of the week for me, eveni though they havent made a good one since part 3.

I thought Jason takes Manhatton had good values and had funny moments too....Well made that one....

Especially the scene where he kicks over that ghetto blaster and the kid gets his knife out....to which he lifts his mask off and the kid say's it's cool and legs it!!..Good music too...........

Always a different mask in the Halloween sequels after 2.........1st one was great and soulless why change it??

Halloween 4 was good......Crap mask and the guy was to robotic though..

Have to say Halloween as I've never seen Friday the 13th, (any of them).

Give them a go............Try number 2 there is a scene you couldn't get away with now in the PC age........

The original Michael Myers mask was a William Shatner mask painted white - fact of the day!

Also the guy who played MM in the first one (as in the shape) was Nick Castle who went on to become a director in his own right (The Boy who could fly and another film about aliens - Voyagers perhaps?) - fact of the day 2

He tried to distance himself from the shape but is interviewed in the 25th anniversary edition..

2nd Michael Myers was played by Dick warlock famed Hollywood stuntman....In high heeled shoes!!!!

2nd fact of the day..The scene in the movie where he learns that Laurie is at the hospital by the kid walking into him with his ghetto blaster.....

That was warlock's son............
