Windows vs Android

Looking to buy a new phone, just wondered what people's thoughts are on the Windows 8X phone and in general the operating system. I have Windows 8 on my laptop, and I'm a fan as well as the Xbox so it'd be good to get that connectivity going. However, I've always used Android up to now.

Can I have opinions on which Operating System is better, and also best deals (Pay As You Go), looking to pay up to £200 really. The Nexus appeals at £230-odd though, and so does the Windows Phone 8X at £150.

Got an Android myself and love it, completely free of charge too! That said I can't give a balanced arguement as not had a windows phone, just that awful Apple trype...........how overrated (and priced)???

Regarding the pay as you go deals I believe 3 mobile are the best value.

Agree, Apple is over-rated massive IMO. And I want to be on Three Like their network.

I own a Mac and an iPad and both are excellent products but agree that the iPhone is ridiculously overpriced.

Only gripe I have is the Windows OS is a bit short of apps, but it's great for usability.
