Pacman requests blood testing for Rios fight

I thought Pacman was afraid of needles and they made him feel weak. He has requested tests upto the fight date with Rios. vada will be doing the testing. Didn't Team Pac make a comment 'Mayweather doesn't make the rules the commissions do'!

The hypocrite in he and Freddie is finally catching up with them. It's funny how the tables have turned, the man guy who ran from 40 million dollars and a needle is now demanding testing himself. How ironic!!

Surely you would agree having been left face down by Marquez.....His only real option would to seek a 5th fight..........

Perhaps he's stopped taking PEDS, thus happy to be tested.

Perhaps he feared Flloyd and the needles were a convenient excuse not to fight.

I don't think manny ducked floyd because he went and fought JMM who manny has had massive trouble with in the past. If mannyw as ducking floyd due to fear of losing or having a hard fight he wouldnt then go and fight JMM who is Manny's nightmare.

Wouldn't trust anybody from a third world country like the Philippines.....

Rios is the perfect opponent for Manny to look good against.

I hope Marquez doesnt fight him again because can finish his fantastic career with having stamped a perfect ending to their series.

A lot of people want to see a 5th fight based on the fact he got wobbled by Manny in the 5th round last time. If they fight again, you can be sure a 6th fight will be called for immediately after, then a 7th and so on. Its pointless, there are plenty of other fights out there. They have fought 4 times. Its enough.

It's just that it was such a decisive knockout...........Coupled with at least two robberies....

Marquez doesn't need it anymore though. Manny can chase all he wants.

Marquez has 3 dodgy decisions against him and then closed the book in a manner that most didnt think was possible. But because he got staggered in the round before the knockout, many feel this warrants another fight.

Thats a silly as Chavez Jr getting another fight against Martinez due to the 12th round even though he got a lesson for the previous 11.

Marquez is now taking on Bradley who is undefeated and dangerous..........Manny is taking on Rios who just got beat and is a plodder.

Marquez deserves to move on, not get stuck fighting the same fighter who hasn't looked good in years.

I never implied he totally ducked Floyd, actually i blame them both for the fight not happening.

Ja this is a after-effect of getting knocked out by a guy who suddenly became Superman. Its three years too late (though I suspect the money issue would have arose even if Manny agreed to OSDT) but better late than never

He fought Marquez the 3rd time with both him and roach thinking he had improved greatly and would wipe the floor with him especially since mayweather beat him with ease this at the time was seen as a low risk high reward fight! But it proved manny hadn't really improved against counter punchers just looks great against plodders etc

Yes it stinks of hypocrisy, but as Brandon Rios is working with a convicted PED-Pusher (who has changed his name) and the fact that Pacquaios team were happy to overlook 24/7 random testing against JMM, it is a step in the right direction.

Another point I'm not clear with is whether VADA or USADA are completing the tests? Any citation?

A very good stance to take especially since the US has never been in a situation where any of their sports people have been found guilty of cheating - which to date the person you refer to has only been accused of cheating with no facts at all.
