Mayweather - Alvarez Tickets!!

Morning Guys,

The tickets go on sale later this evening and I was just wondering if anyone will be hoping to go to the fight. I understand it will sell out pretty quick, even with a minimum $350 ticket price.  

Has anyone been to a Mayweather fight before? What are chances of getting some tickets from ticketmaster? Any tips or general advice? Has anyone booked flights/hotels etc?

I believe they normally don't sell super quick so you should be ok as long as you don't book late.

Mayweather fights typically dont sell like hot cake. But this is a huge fight, so my advice would be to get one ASAP. Never been to a Vegas fight, so I cant really say.

A Mexican fighting the p4p champ in Vegas. I think they'll go fairly quickly.....

I went for Mayweather vs Hatton and the tickets for them were very difficult to source. It may be easier to book as a package. I know Thomas Cook do packages where you get flights, hotel and guaranteed tickets. You will probably have to pay a bit more than if you did it all individual but it saves a lot of hassle about stressing about the tickets.

My advice would be to get your accommodation booked, that may also be a problem if you leave it too late.

So far the cheapest flight for said dates is £611 return (goes on 13th and back on 16th). Tickets ive found cheapest are £400!!! Has to be a joke?! So a grand....then id advise a motel for cheap if possible on outskirts..........either that or watch on sky?

must be able to find a package deal better than that? a casino hotel that'll chuck in the tickets maybe?

It be great if there was Tophat!! I want to go but don't want spend over £1500!!

There's no problem with accommodation, so DO NOT book early. Vegas is a strip of hotels, you'll find a room no problem. Although, booking flights early is always sensible given flight prices rose 22% in the last month alone.

I managed to get Mayweather vs Ortiz tickets on fight week quite easily from MGM box office (I was in Vegas at the time). For some reason TM did not release the lower priced tickets so these were readily available.

You may struggle to get the cheaper tickets from TM, therefore. However, just get online ASAP. I think non US customers cannot have their tickets delivered to their local country (e.g delivery address has to be a hotel, or picked up from MGM). So make sure you commit to going Vegas if you do get tickets.

Btw- this fight is a guaranteed sell out unlike most Mayweather fights.

Yep it's sold out already and on course to be as big as DLH-Mayweather

$20mil gate is crazy and I'm sure the PPV buys will be successful

I think we are going to witness one of the highest fights of all time if im honest. I think it will be a great fight as well. Mayweather via UD though but wont be quite all his way like it was against Guerrero.

wow, 350 minimum ticket cost and sold out in a day? this fight may well be the defining fight of a career for both men.

i'l love to go to this, on a complete package. is this likely or have i missed the boat already?
