surrey vs kent spitfires FLT20

Surrey have named a fifteen man squad for the Friends Life T20 game against the Kent Spitfires at Canterbury on Sunday.
Ricky Ponting is named in the squad but still remains a doubt due to a hand injury that is being closely monitored by the medical staff and Tom Jewell has been added to the squad,

176 - 3.  Fair effort, after getting bogged down in the middle, but probably no better than par.  Sounded from the commentary as tho Davies was running out of energy in second half of his innings.

Sudden turn of fortune seemingly brought about by the Brain taking two wickets in an over at the point when the total and required run rate was just starting to rise above comfortable levels for Kent.

Great win again today, very pleasing! Have to say when you look at Sussex's batting line up it's even more impressive that we beat them the other day too.

I wasn't able to follow yesterday's game as it unfolded but clearly another fine result. Our bowling in the final 10 overs has been particularly instrumental in our 2 wins. Probably just need to put our foot down a bit more during the same period when we bat.

Very important game at home to Sussex on Wednesday. Beat the Sharks and it's a very good 3 wins out of 4. However, a loss would make it 2 out of 4 which is far more ordinary ....
