League Reboot

First topic message reminder :

Please register your interest should we press ahead and reboot the league.

This is also a good chance to air grievances with current rules and suggest new ones, as well as any innovations you have to make it better.

We may entirely ignore all suggestions, such is our wont.

Team Selection

Every team valued at 100m or below is available

Everybody bids for their preferred team

Maximum bid is 120m, Minimum 70m. Bids must also be at least TM value of the club

Any money left over from the 120m budget goes into your budget for a player draft

Results
Same as before

Voting
Same as before, however 1 good/bad point for each team required

TP Limit
Draft = no TP limit
Start of the league = £10m limit
Each week = £1m increase
End of season 1 = £19m TP limit (based on 10 teams, no cup weeks as we'd do that at the end)
End of season 2 = £28m

You could make it £12m > £21m > £30m if preferred?

This will change slightly depending on number of teams.

English teams were certainly the easy option as everyone knows the squad players, look overseas and half the team has some people googling.

Easy option as in most people would rate players they see week in week out, but that can work both ways as we both know.

Yeah, that was what made QPR an odd choice for me.

So many of them had poor seasons that really count against their rating.

Exactly, they've got some really good players and with a little tweaking here and there you've got yourself a nice team. I didn't even know Lovren had moved to Southampton either.

I considered Villa quite heavily and other sides, but I just did cos I like to make em into me own team.

I really wanted Rubin Kazan coz they have some really quality players like Eremenko and Natkho but they were just too unknown.

They have the highest average player value of any team you could pick I think

Player drafts. No Limit correct? So can I bid £1m for any level of player in the hope of winning him or does the bid have to be the minimum players TM Value?

I don't think any change from new 2 new lawyers weekly.

But I do think we should reduce the lawyer value down to +10% and rounded to the nearest 100k, to keep the cash coming into the league relatively low

Thats why im not fussed about Karl Henry. Remy & Adel T were my main reason for picking QPR. Midfield's ok tfb, good central & good wingers nothing special. Just need to buy a back four.

I have definately stepped into a parallel universe. Negredo goes for £20, it looks like Soldado might move for £26m and now Azzy and Zidane are being chummy.
