Looks like there is going to be a Rocky spin off about Apollo Creed's grandson. boxing

I like this idea more than having another Rocky film, actually looking forward to seeing how this pans out.

I think Michael B. Jordan is a good choice, very good young actor. Really enjoyed him as Vince in Friday Night Lights. And of course Sly Stallone will be starring as Rocky!

What do guys think? Is a Rocky spin off what was needed or will this flop and damage the Rocky franchise?

I don't think it will damage the franchise anymore than V did, but it won't give it the kiss of life either.

The Klitschko brothers got the rights to Rocky the German Musical. Wonder if they will get a cameo... Apollo Creed III fighting Wladimir Klitschko for the World heavyweight title!

It could be really good or really bad.  Worst case scenario is they do a Karate Kid job on the movie.  You go to the film expecting boxing but soon discover that Creed's grandson is being taught wrestling by Thunderlips.

I'd consider Thunderlips to be Hulk Hogan's best film role. That's still not saying much though.
