So tomorrow the traditional opener of the season kicks off with Premier League Champions Manchester United taking on FA Cup winners Wigan.

Wigan have had a few big changes to the squad that finished last year, while Manchester United look alarmingly similar. Grant Holt is the biggest addition to Wigan having lost the likes of Kone and Alcarez. Manchester United have only added a young Uruguayan full back.

Wayne Rooney has been ruled out with a "shoulder injury" which is only going to add speculation of his future. I want that saga to move on quickly because otherwise United are never going to kick on.

I expect United to be rusty, they've had a poor pre-season by all accounts and quite a few first teamers played a match on Wednesday. Despite this, I expect them to come away winners and give David Moyes a good start.

Half paced game but was to be expected. Really hope Utd can bring a couple of players in though. Fellani seems a done deal atm, so he'll bring something different to the side. Hopefully Junzaj get's a few games this season. Looks a fantastic prospect.
