I gave in at the 2 minute warning, just because I didn't want to get stuck in the rain on the way to Wembley park!

I was well gutted about Gabbert... they could have chucked him in during garbage time for the fans...
Though I did get to see him throw a loose spiral in warmups!

A good day out at Wembley. A good win for the 49ers. Great atmosphere and the Jaguars played their part too. Just glad I don't have to travel home tonight and didn't have to rush after the game.

As a Redskins fan, I'm so glad Kyle Shanahan decided that our RB who is averaging 7 yards a carry wasn't going to get the job done and decided to dial up a few long throws to keep the momentum with Denver picard

Dreadful playcalling

No-one can flunk a game quite like the Redskins can. In control against a good team in their own backyard?? That's not for us. Let's dust down the crap part of the playbook, have the punter kick it 15yards and start dropping easy passes and turning the ball over. At least after today I can let the season go and just keep a casual eye on things. I just wish I could get a refund on my Gamepass!!

Ah, and now we do return to the run game at precisely the time we do need to find a way to move the ball quickly and with predictable results - a fresh as a daisy defense stuffs it for a 4 yard loss. I'm no professional football coach but I think I know enough basics to understand that Kyle Shanahan has blown this one big time!

I know we're winning but the raiders offense is so poor. Cant put a drive together for anything

feel sorry for the defense. Much improved this season but theyre spending way too much time on the field

Ah, well they need to watch some Redskins film then - our effort against Denver today has been a masterclass in how to throw a game away:-

1. Stop doing the things that have given you a 14 point lead.... check
2. Start turning the ball over..... check
3. Start dropping passes.... check
4. Start falling over when your QB throws you the ball.... check
3. Start punting the ball 15 yards.... check
4. Keep on not doing the things that gave you that 14 point lead.... check

I think the Redskins may have to consider playing DeAngelo Hall at WR. He's looking like a far better pass catcher than any of our WRs at this point of the season. 2 INT game for him. Why is Manning still throwing it deep anyway?? It's not like there's any danger that the Redskins are going to come back at them here. Keep it classy Denver!

The Cowboys must be kicking themselves for letting tonight's game go. A win and they would have just about had the NFC East wrapped up. The Giants defence has shown up in their last two games. It will be interesting to see how the Giants go after their bye week with a three home games run against the Raiders, Packers and Cowboys.

With the Broncos turning it around and the Raiders hanging on, I now have 11 out of 11 for this week with the Packers and Seahawks to go. I my competition though I called a few of the games the other way.

Few thoughts

Pats should explore drafting an Aaron Rodgers to Tom Bradys Favre. Bradys not imminently retiring but it'd be 2011 Colts ugly if no ones ready behind him.

Lack of QBs in the last draft has really led to a pileup at the position. The Jaguars, Eagles, Browns etc all delayed their QB pickup. KC and Oakland have options to explore in the short term. Add to that teams like Minnesota, Tampa, Houston, Arizona an possibly St Louis, and you get a sellers market atop the draft.

Kansas City might not be the best team in the league, but they're the best undefeated team. I wouldn't want to go in Arrowhead in January against that D.

The only team that can stop Dallas winning the NFC East is Dallas. And that point was firmly illustrated Sunday. The Giants got out terribled by the Eagles. The Redskins imploded in Denver. Meanwhile Dallas poised to take a commanding lead lets Detroit off the hook. Cue Dez. The NFC East shouldn't still be open.
