Chisora keeping busy

Chisora is down to fight again on the 30th November, defending his european title against Arnold Gjerjaj, as reported on the BBC website: -

Seems to be a fight designed to keep him busy rather than stretch him. But if the rumours of a fight with Price in February are correct, then this will make him one our most active fighters around. Hate him or hate him (there isn't much to love really), at least he isn't keeping us waiting 18 months between fights.

Favourite British boxer at the moment. I like him for that reason. Takes on anyone anywhere and often (unless banned).

I think a good marker for him will be how Fury fairs against Haye. He'll kill Price.

If it keeps him around 235lbs like he was in his last fight then good on him

Will always fall short at the very top due to lack of power and skills, but he can be a handful for any fighter with his pressure and chin

If Price can't get him out early he will be in for a long night as Chisora won't stop st him

Warren's diminished stable means he has to use fighters like Chisora for pretty much every card

What have we become when Chisora is topping bills...he should be topping pizza on a production line.

Warren is putting a lot of hope into him. At least Chis is doing his part by staying fit and focused. The refs and doctors are there to do there bit to keep him winning too.

Billie Joe Saunders should be topping the bill again. I just hope i get to see him this time as the prev 2 occasions (Copper box and Wembley Arena) I've had to leave before it starts due to dire undercards going the distance meaning the last train came just as BJS started!

Well its commendable that Chisora is keeping busy. There was an article a month or two ago when he said both Frank Warren and his mum laid it on the line and told him to be a proper full time boxer living the life of one...or pack it in now. It seems to have rattled him and if this is the effect then he has a few years of a very good steady income ahead of him.

We all know he is not as talented as others, but a strong work ethic and regular fights mean he's doing the best he can with what he has.

Why should it be commendable for Chisora to be in shape and focused?? He is getting paid for it after all. Its his job, its expected of him.

Chisora is a hero to many being such a fitness guru

I am not a Chisora fan, but I am for fighters doing their job ( as you rightly said ) and fighting at least 3 times a year. Its commendable because if he has turned his life around then fair play.

Big if that one. Chisora tends to revert to type very easily, so I doubt he has really had a Saul on the road to Damascus moment!
