Redding suffered a heavy fall during qualifying and has sustained a broken wrist.

Redding is having surgery in Melbourne and is out of Sunday's race.

Desperately disappointing for Redding, as with Pol on pole, it seems like the title is slipping away from Redding.

Considering Redding's completed every race this season, this has come at the worst possible time
