I rate Cane. Bit of a odd one. Although he's at the same stage of development like Hooper. They both focus on the breakdown, and can be outnumbered. Came though has offered more recently for me.

What do people see as my best back row combo? I'm thinking Wood, Cane, Lobbe, Vosloo or Bardy on bench but other people may have other ideas

I would like the Wood, Cane, JMF combo. But heavy traffic carriers are needed in the front five.

In all seriousness, makes them very solid up front. Is Hibbard confirmed yet? Will be interesting to see the terms of Afoa's contract, a lot of Ulster fans complaining about him missing key games because his wife and kids were still in NZ.

If Hibbard is confirmed, I reckon Gloucester are a quality lock away from a side who can beat anyone in the league.

Great for England too, Morgan, Kvesic, Robson, Burns (if he doesn't go to Leicester), 36, Trinder and May all get a decent platform for once

I think if they can pair Stookes and savage together in the second row they're virtually sorted and can the develop the players in and around the pack.

Exactly Fluxy, properly chuffed if we get Hibbard as well too! Savage much stronger in the 2nd row plus means we have K-Q-Morgan and Kvesic in the backrow.

IF nige pulls these signings off I will be a happy chappy and think that we will strat going somewhere so long as we keep hold of Burns.

Have a feeling Cowan may be off at the end of this season now.

I hope Cowen leaves , Dan Robson looks insane everytime i see him play. Such a classy ball player.

It's a shame that Cowan has been injured, I really rate him as a player, was my favourite AB SH since Marshall

Yeah I really want to see Robson get a run of games, next season he could make a late push for the WC squad if he gets a good go

Le Roux has had a awesome year throughout , Halfpenny has had a quite AIs for me.

Halfpenny, that bloke on the player of the year award shortlist, yeah him.

I do personally prefer Le Roux, but Halfpenny's consistency over such a long period can't be ignored.

No way I could put Ben Smith at 13 based on this year, he should be on the wing though. Either Conrad Smith or JD2 is the 13 for me

Ben Smith has had half a good game at 13, how can he make a team of year in that position??? I think he missed 6 tackles against France.

He is however an unreal back 3 player.

Want him in the team, North and Habana deserve their spots more than JD2 or Conrad Smith, so I shoe horned him in

JD & Conrad have played much better in the 13 jersey. JD was better in 10 mins against SA than Smith was all AI.

I'm a massive Smith fan but he's no top 13.....yet.

Exactly Bam, you'd be better off just naming your favourite 15 players of the year. That would make more sense.

Smith has a lot to learn at 13, I'm unconvinced they'll carry on with the experiment tbh

I think Smith at 13 is more justifiable than Retallick at 3. Smith can actually 13 whilst saying you'd pick Retallick at prop is just sour grapes.

It is 'my' world xv lads, i can pick who i want, it is my favourite 15 players of the year, that's how it works!
