Just For Fun - Your Dream Fight
A topic to lighten the mood -
Quite simple really: Which fighter past or present would you most like to get in the ring with at your weight class. Lets keep it realistic so if you're a Featherweight dont say you'd get a Klitshko to boil down to the feather limit.
A reason why you have chosen that opponent and how you think it would go. (To make it a bit easier - we mortals are allowed headguards! )
I would go with Scott Harrison at Lightweight - Not sure if has fought at this weight but dont think i could make super feather. Not a particularly big fan of his, seems a nasty piece of work....i would swarm him at the start hopefully land a punch or 2 in the first min before before being stopped in the 2nd min from a body shot after having had my nose broken
Who would you like to punch in the face??

Audley, he is that passive that even against me I would go a few rounds.

Willie Pep - Then he could win the fight and I would not have to get hit...

Easiest answer ever: Brian sutherland

Perhaps the only 'pro' boxer ever who wouldn't beat me to a bloody pulp in seconds

I really wouldn't want to fight anyone but in light of the above I would pay good money to see TopHat v Dustin Nichols.SugarWarrior wrote:A topic to lighten the mood -

Welter Sugar Ray Leonard.
I think my spped and reach would frighten him. My in and out movement will confuse him while I jab him relentlessly.
My power is very much so expect an early night

Re: Just For Fun - Your Dream Fight
Liston vs Foreman would be a war, the scariest and hardest hitting heavies ever sharing a ring would be a sight to see.
Just realised i missed the point a bit here so the fighter i would most like to share a ring with would be Ali just to see how sweet his moves were before i drop him with a Joe Frazier like hook

Evander Holyfield at Cruiser. It would be an honour to be boxed into smithereens by the division's greatest champion. Even within a round.
So long as I lived to tell the tale without any lasting damage, obviously.

Re: Just For Fun - Your Dream Fight
Carl Froch at Super Middle to repeatedly punch him in the face and still have him chase me round the ring as if i haven't even landed a shot. Plus, soon as he hits me, the ref stops it. Happy days. Plus, being in with a warrior is a dream in itself.
Id also like to step up to maybe Light Heavy to take on Hopkins. Just to see how dirty and awkward he actually is and how he would disrupt my pathetic game plan

I can make cruiser and I would love to have a fight with Enzo. I may be giving away a bit of height and reach but then so was the legendary Bobby Gunn. And Enzo's chinny. He's gonna go...
