The former back rower is making the move to the 13 shirt. With Scotlands' plethora of talent at backrow, but perhaps slight shortage for competition in midfield, perhaps this is a good move?

I noticed he was selected for Stirling County at 13 for their clash with Nottingham last week. Interesting to see how he gets on in the backs.

Switching to 13 on Friday 13th, unlucky for some... lucky for others.

Funny to see two promising back-row players switch positions this season, with Vernon to centre and Stuart McInally to hooker. Any news on his progress?
