Tina I do have a shed, however lighting and cold issues aside it is housing my infrequently used bike so space is at something of a premium.

I nearly did when I had the norovirus.  Was chucking up in the bog and desperately needed a dump at the same time but my arse wouldn't reach the bath, managed to manouevre myself around without getting anything on the floor.  At the rate it came out I probably would've missed the bath and spattered it on the wall.

I'm sure I would have launched the odd depth charge as a child but not in adult memory. I had the norovirus a couple of years back. The taking it in turns alternating ends was an episode I never wish to experience again.

Caught the norovirus just before Xmas (last year I had it on Xmas Day...people thought it had snowed but it was just the camera flash reflecting off my ghostly white skin)

As a method of losing four pounds in half a day it's one I'd opt for as a last resort.

As for Sean's daughter pooing in the bath, he neglected to mention she's in he late 30's

I think there are a lot of new years resolutioners out there. Pretending they like their jobs now and are going to give 100%. Should pick up again in the next few weeks. Possibly in time for windows' announcement about the return of the culture cup.

Yours did have an explanation for people unfamiliar with Gore-Tex so could be enjoyed universally whereas mine's merely a niche comment.

Other than sensible and sturdy attire, what is your main interest Galted. I was a boxing fan but it is mostly sh1t there now. Always intrigued.me as you don't appear.the sporty type.

Thanks for caring, michaels. I do actually follow most sports, none very religiously though. Apart from that I enjoy hating films that don't meet the ridiculously high standards required for my enjoyment and love winding small and angry people up.

No worries. I have recently discovered that Windows is often found flirting on the rugby boards. Intense lot over there.

Can't be bothered with the boxing board all that often these days either, Sean. Not much to be said that hasn't already been said and I don't watch enough or read enough these days to keep up with the hardcore guys like jeff, chris and the captain.

I do quite like to wind Strongy up now and again but he's such an easy target.

The rugby boards are just too smug and tw@t-filled for my liking. Used to go on the cricket boards quite a lot but my considerable knowledge is f-all compared to most of the posters. The cricket one is streets ahead of Cricinfo or the BBC for informative opinion and debate though.

Boxing board is great fun when its thriving and its left mostly uncensored - like when chisora haye kicked off, or Groves, froch, - fantastic times - but between fights theres only so much times you can make a fantasy match up thread!

Who dared make such an accusation?  I'm quite tempted to go onto the rugby forum and say "bum to you!" but that would probably spark an immense slanging match between the English and Welsh with the resident Kiwis all chipping in to say how thoroughly super and honourable they are.

I can't remember. It was a Welsh chap but I can't recall his name. The thread got locked in the end.

Not because he called me pompous, it got worse than that with standard accusations of sheep bothering from the English and imperialist insults from the Welsh.

Speaking of pomposity, Groucho and Rowley seem to have deserted The Culture Cup round 6, maybe it's just become too big for it's own good, like REM and Nandos.
