Only accurate way to describe us at present is to swear. A lot.

Looking at Englands forwards and backs. Could we just play two packs on pitch and drop a prop?

Wood has been pretty desperate. I don't think France are having to get out of 2nd gear here, we're hapless.

Pretty much sums up the half hour for England there.
Great work and then an error at the end.

Nearly a moment of class from Goode to grab a try before he remembers he's playing for England and knocks on.

Thank God, France make a mistake. I think it was too early for Nowell.

Never thought I'd say it but England seem to be playing too much of the Harlequins way here.

Does dripping a restart count as a handling error? Likewise getting turned over?
Frak bouncing ball!!!!!!! France have some black magic going on here!

Regardless of what else Nowell has done, if that was Ashton vs Picamoles it's try time

Until he got handed off and left on his backside by Dousain at that lineout. His maul penalty gifted France an easy there early on as well PSW.
Owen has no idea about the scrum, standard.
Great tackle on Picamoles by Nowell.
Hartley is probably our best player at the moment. Nice to see Farrell trying to get a passing game going. He's just not doing it very well.

To be fair only really at scrum time, and we always new that technically France could give us a master class.
Rest of the time the pack are doing extraordinarily well at dealing with the English backs problems.

Worth noting that finally ref pings the French for killing the ball and straight away we get something from it.
Really good work by Care. Exactly what he's there to do.

After the first 5 minutes, despite England's awful play, France haven't scored. Maybe we still have a chance...

I thought Nyanga was actually on his feet there. His competing for the ball was fair. Another poor call from Owens today.
