Whats this guys deal? Trying to extend his 15 minutes of fame I should imagine.

Also, it seems Woods and Mickelson(if necessary) will be automatic Captains picks despite their poor Ryder Cup records, as per this interview with Tom Watson.

"Woods has a career 13-17-3 record in the matches and has been a member of just one winning Ryder Cup team in seven appearances. The lone upside to Woods' Ryder Cup record is his performance in single matches, where he has a 4-1-2 career record.

Mickelson's Ryder Cup record has been just as bad in his nine appearances in the matches. Lefty has a 14-18-6 record and actually has a losing record in singles matches at 4-5-1." from Bleacherreport.com

Watson is behaving like previous England football managers by picking on ridiculous unrelated hype if he picks those two.
Not only has Woods got one of the worst ever Ryder Cup records, he's not even played a comp in 5 months. You'd have to be an idiot to pick someone like that, especially someone so disinterested in the competition.
You have to imagine it's purely for the Ratings, obviously that's more important than winning to Watson.

Don't get what your fuss is about incontinentia - looks like he was merely giving an interview to the local paper as he was returning to his hometown (Chicago) for his radio show.
He doesn't say anything new, that's for sure.

As for Watson, it'll be a tough call for him to "pick" Woods AND Mickelson, not to mention his buddy Snedeker - none of them playing well and, if Phil has a poor week at Pinehurst, all will be adrift in the qualifying placings.
