First topic message reminder :

Sunderland are apparently on for will Buckley again this weekend. Another one from Brighton.

Also after Nacer Chadli from spurs and Jonas from Valencia - along with still trying to persuade fabio borini.

i do find it strange that we have been written off for being poor at the start of the season yet arsenal have been fairly poor themselves yet nobody mentioned it. they were rubbish against palace and leicester, were extremely lucky to get through in the champions league and were massively let off against everton

of course we have been worse so far, but then again we haven't got a settled squad and manager who's been in the role for years like arsenal have

Not sure about loaning to a rival.

Think welbeck will be excellent for arsenal leading the line.

Could be a mistake but we will see.

Loan market has gone crazy.

We signed a world class forward on 10th July...

Welbeck deal sort of makes sense actually, can fill in at ST while giroud is out but also has experience playing on LW for when he returns

Love how Falcao to Utd is mocked yet Welbeck to Arsenal is what they need.

Falcao 155 goals in 200 games
Welbeck 37 goals in 182 games.

What on earth are Monaco playing at, getting rid of their best two players when money isn't an option to them, have they given up after one year like Anzhi.

People may bemoan us signing Di Maria and Falcao but when you look at the outgoings it does make a fair bit of sense, those two in with Kagawa, Hernandez, Nani and Welbeck out.

That's because United don't need forwards they need a DM & CB's
Arsenal need anything that can kick a ball between the posts. Can't be any worse then Sanogo surprised United willing to loan to us personally.

Paddy Power saying about rumors that we've activated Klass Jan Huntelaar's release clause probably trying to get easy money . All we need is a Kalou rumor and it's a full house of random rumors

With Welbeck and Hernandez surplus to requirements we do need a forward, doesn't cover up needing a world class midfielder and defender though.

If Arsenal need a player that can get the ball between the posts then is Welbeck really the answer when surely they could have pushed the boat out to get Falcao themselves?

And until Arsenal take that risk they'll not challenge City and Chelsea because they'll be stuck brining in Welbeck.

If suspected RVP is out for a while then is this a side that'll push for the top four?

----------De Gea-------
----Jones--Evans--Rojo
Di Maria-Herrera-Blind-Shaw
-------------Mata--------
------Falcao--Rooney-----

(If he continues with the wingbacks)

-----------De Gea----------
Rafael---Jones---Rojo---Shaw
---------Blind---Herrerra----
--------------Mata-------------
Di Maria-----Falcao------Rooney

If they go 4-3-3

That 4-3-3 side looks far stronger and the attacking talent should see us through comfortably if we start to click, the defence doesn't look anywhere near as weak either.

not sure im fully sold on the defence is awful bit, so far this season we haven't had a first choice defence available, and most playing in a system they are unused to.

C side against MK dons aside, our weakened defence has let in 3 goals in 3 games hardly criminal!! once we get players back fit and accustomed to playing with each other then judge us, got a feeling that a lot of teams will be quite worried about the attacking threat the other end that the defence wont be as hard worked after these signings we have made
