100% Completion

Hi guys just wanted to know what games some of you have managed to gain all the achievements for. Once fully completed the games appear on your dashboard, showing what games you have every achievement for, these can disappear if new achievements come out for a game through download content etc. I only have three myself but one of those is a downloadable game at only 200 points so doesn't really count i suppose. I have another good few which are close but not sure of them just now as i'm at work, i'm very close on Black Ops and Dead Rising 2 i know that. Looking to gain all the achievements for L.A. Noire, got half just now but a long way to go, cheers GG.

Would have got Lego Harry Potter as well but it glitched near the end so can't get one of students in peril now.

Red Dead Redemption was the last game I got every last thing.

The vast majority of games, I really cannot be bothered! I love the Assassins Creed games for instance, but when it comes to finding all the feathers- it's just too boring for me! I'm definitely not a completist Smile

Will pick up SMC the future Enforcer, great games, had something similair on the PC when this game came out, i too am very close on Creed 2, think i have 5 achievements to get but the feathers are 1 of them.

Great job on Red Dead Notch. Loved the game, had 940G when i finished it with only a couple of achievements to go, but i believe there is nearly 100 achievements now and 940G is probably not much more than half of what is needed for completion now.

Gregors; Multiplayer achievements are the hardest for me, some near impossible, a couple of the Zombie one's are all that is stopping me from full points on Black Ops.

Prawn; I definitely think they can be done, excluding multiplayer makes it easier IMO, will be going for it myself and you can be sure i will let people know if i do.

Too many games have silly acheivements like play 1000 games online, or be ranked No. 1 in the world. How many people are going to get that??
I always vow to get all the acheivements for every game I play but never do.

Agreed Aqua, some online achievements are impossible, and while they certainly are achievements it's not possible for the majority to obtain them, like winning the World Belt online in Fight Night, stupid. Games which i know have a lot of Multiplayer achievements put me off, i'm sure it will be the opposite for others though.

Thanks, nearly got the first Assassin's Creed but couldn't get out of the lab at the end, and all my other games gamerpoints are ridiculously low.

With the multiplayer achievements my mates helped me on FIFA doing Be A Pro, we are always teams like Wolves and Stoke, too many fun nights doing that.

I'm the same mate. If I see there is aload of online achievements then I don't bother trying for any achievments on that game because I know I'll never get 100%. I enjoy playing online but I have better things to do than waste 6 months of my life trying to kill 10,000 zombies or drive around half the world. Fair play to anybody who does achieve them but surely they must be in the minority of gamers.

got every achievement EXCEPT the no cheats for GTA4. This is because the idiots waited about 3 weeks after release before opening trophies so even though i'd completed both endings with no cheats, i'd started a with cheats game so when the trophies came out I was blocked Sad

not happy.

Only 1 achievement to go for L.A. Noire, 5 stars in every case, just completed the achievements for the DLC, got 1120G.

Only have the feathers to go on AC II, but I've traded it in now so will never be able to get them. It's just too much effort. I could have gone onto the internet and got all the locations, but since I already have like a quarter of them from just playing the game through as usual, it would be well annoying when I took ages getting to a location only to find I already had that feather.

I think game developers should put more effort into achievements, a game with some good achievements, which are challenging but not unrealistic or boring can actually make the game a lot better. Call of Duty have got the right idea with no multiplayer achievements, as they never ever work.

Agreed InvincibleILeak, i have most of Black Ops except 2 Zombie ones, i've not got the newest maps which would add another 5 i think.

That's a lot K-PX0110, nice to see you've got Bully there, i just bought it off X-Box live a few weeks ago and only have four achievements left, one is 100% completion though and won't be easy, will keep plugging away.

Not going to list the games I've completed but will complain instead.

Red Dead Redemption - brilliant game, but it would never let me complete it to 100%. I only have one more objective to do - I think it's one of those jobs for the sheriff in the last town (Blackwater). No matter how many times I do it, I'm still stuck on 99.9%. So eventually I gave up and left it at that.

And GTA Vice City. Took me ages, a good few years of going back to it, but I did it in the end. Even though I loved GTA, I didn't have the time or commitment for doing it for the following releases.

Although my gaming knowledge isn't huge, GTA must be one of the only series of games where just completing the storyline is only about 25% of what you can get out of it.

On the other hand, I don't think it is as important to the younger generation now. Don't want to get bogged down in a "it was better in my time" debate, but I can remember many an evening trying to get all the Chaos Emeralds in Sonic 2 and getting REALLY frustrated with it. But I stuck with it. Now I reckon they would just move on to the next game.

After I did it, blood sweat and tears, I found out about the reset cheat.

Wasn't really a cheat as such. Just something I found out one evening while playing it.

To those of you who don't know, If you reset the MegaDrive after you have got a chaos emerald (usually in the first zone where it is easy to rack up 100 gold coins), then you can start the game again from the start, but for some reason the MegaDrive remembers that you got a Chaos Emerald and you can go for Chaos Emerald number 2. Keep doing this until you get them all and you have all the Emeralds in the very first level. Then every time you get 50 gold coins, you turn into Super Sonic, making level completion a lot easier.

Simples.
