Yes I've seen that one, the marshall ended up in two halves and Pryce was virtually decapitated. Not pleasant.

Can I take my tax disc out of my windscreen now or do I have to keep it there until it expires?

Expiry then you are good to go...
There is a grey area at the moment about which takes priority, the terms at purchase of the disc, or the new law.
So unless you are massively offended by it's presence in your windscreen, keep it in...

I'm irked, rather than offended, so I'll leave it where it is.
There must be a hell of a lot more ANPR type cameras around than I thought there were, if that is how they are going to police it.

I am guessing not, though police cars carry them as std, if you think about it, it is no different than the way it is policed now, only with even more outlets than Police and traffic enforcement, as they traffic cams are starting this tech etc...

I suppose they'll jump on the back of the systems they have on petrol forecourts, and those average speed cameras. Still amazed at how many people do not know how they work, slowing down for the camera then tearing off and slowing down for the next one. Nobbers.

I once drove a car without taxand insurance for at least 18 months. Tended to stick to country roads where possible. How I got away with it I don't know.

I had some nobhead gesticulating at me this morning when I was just rolling up to a set of traffic lights. He obviously hadn't realised that's why I had slowed down.
I'd quite like to carry a replica gun in the car and give these kind of planks a fright every now and again.

Re: The Culture Cup Round x - Adam is a naughty naughty boy
In fact having looked it up.
http://edition.cnn.com/WORLD/africa/9812/11/flame.thrower.car/
JOHANNESBURG, South Africa (CNN) -- Crime-obsessed South
Africans have a powerful new weapon with which to stop
likely criminals: the car flamethrower.
Casting a man-high fireball, reportedly with no damage to the
paint, the Blaster has been placed on 25 South African vehicles
since its introduction last month.
At 3,900 rand ($655), it offers a cheap, dramatic defense
against carjackers. It has yet to be deemed illegal.
South African courts allow killing if convinced that it's in self-
defense. The defense is not unheard of. In last year's 13,000
carjackings, criminals often brandished weapons or used them
with little provocation.
The Blaster squirts liquefied gas from a bottle in the
automobile's trunk through two nozzles, located under the
front doors. The gas is then ignited by an electric spark, with
fiery consequences.
Both sides flame at the same time, regardless of whether the
attack is coming from just one side of the vehicle, or whether
passersby are on the other side. But the breadth and depth of
blast can be modified according to individual preference.
Fire blinds, not kills, maker assures
Blaster inventor Charl Fourie, 33, disputed concerns that the
flamethrower could burn someone to death.
"My personal feeling is that it would definitely blind a person.
He will never see again," he said
Firefighters, medical personnel and the police agree 100
percent "that it will never kill a person," Fourie asserted. "This
is definitely non-lethal.... A person is not going to stand there
for a minute while you roast him. It will fend off the attacker,
and that's the end of it."
Fourie has filed an international patent application. He
anticipates thousands of orders nationally and from abroad.
"The demand is huge," he said.
First customer a Johannesburg police official
The first buyer, Police Superintendent David Walkley of
Johannesburg's crime intelligence unit, is satisfied the Blaster
is legal, provided it is used correctly.
"It depends entirely on the circumstances and whether you can
justify self-defense," he said.
"Yes, there are certain risks in using it, but there are also risks
in not having anything at all."

Tuna and cucumber sandwich and a Thai chicken and mushroom soup.
I think the southerners coming up this way are turning me soft.

I did, went from about 94 to 100kg. But it wasn't quite the way I wanted it to be. A little too much around the waist. So I lost around three kilograms in September. Now I need to get myself back to 100kg by around mid November, and then cut back down to about 92kg of muscle by Christmas, the day after which is when I hit the coast for three weeks. Aim is always for the golden ratio. Chest 1.5 times waist size, Arms at least half waist size.
I'd like to think of myself as a clay sculpture. Sometimes I add a little too much clay on one piece and then I have to come up with a way to fix it.

Raf, you have been warned previously about this sort of talk. Keep your grooming and homo-eroticism to the weightlifting board. Given what happened to Sean at school it is not appropriate on here, be a bit more sensitive.

It is a lot of work. Especially cutting down from 100kg to 92kg. I've never lost eight kilograms in a month. Or a year come to think of it, so I'm quite interested to see how it goes!!

You want to try eating a chicken burger from one of the vans outside Celtic Park on match day. Managed to shift about 10 kilos in the course of 24 hours after eating one of those.
