I couldn't care less about the number of English players in the Premier League, if they're good enough they'll get games! If they can't, they can move abroad.

Raheem Sterling & Harry Kane are overrated. Liverpool & Spurs would be as good without them due to Coutinho (liverpool should prioritize keeping him over Raheem) & Eriksen.

Football fans are massive hypocrites when demanding loyalty from their players.

Take Liverpool and Raheem Sterling. When Sterling was given the chance to go from QPR, I don't remember the Liverpool fans arguing he should stay loyal to the club that developed him. Now with the shoe potentially being on the other foot, fans are demanding 'loyalty'.

As someone who has listened to some of the very best of 606 (Danny Baker) and even quite good with Jonathan Pearce, and nowadays 606 is actually interesting again after years of being awful. Savage is brilliant on it, and hes a good pundit overall. He, like Phil Neville, should not be in the commentary box but I like Savage a lot more than most pundits.

As someone who has listened to some of the very best of 606 (Danny Baker) and even quite good with Jonathan Pearce, and nowadays 606 is actually interesting again after years of being awful. I used to despise Savage, but he's grown on me. He knows he's the class buffoon and acts accordingly. Unlike most pundits, he's prepared to hold his hands up when he's wrong. I rather listen to him over the likes of Michael Owen and Paul Scholes.

I don't mind Savage tbh.

It's Niall Quinn who gets on my nerves. All the other pundits are decent. Ian Wright can sometimes be biast, but he's a legend so can be excused.

How many pundits aren't legends?

Do we therefore let Owen off for being crap because he's a legend or look past Scholes boring delivery because he too was a legend.

To be fair I don't listen to 606, but on Match of the Day I feel like he brings the program down a bit. He tends to play the same role that the celebrity guests do when they are on it. I tend to like most pundits though, I like Phil Neville think he's probably the best BBC has, I like Alan Shearer, Danny Murphy, Kevin Kilbane, Carragher, Gary Neville and the likes of Mark Lawrenson are decent.

Jamie Redknapp is rubbish. In fact a lot of the Sky ones are rubbish apart from Jamie Carragher and Gary Neville. BBC seem to manage to capture better pundits.

I tend to think Carragher is pretty crap as well to be honest Crimey, he seems to lack real insight but that could just be Neville knowing far more so makes him loom worse than he possibly is.

Murphy and P Nev seem to know what they're talking about, it's just the delivery that is a bit lacking, very rarely do they talk rubbish though. Savage however is awful, bit of Man United bias in there but he took far too pleasure writing us off last year and the first half of this year for me to take him seriously.

I don't have Sky so don't watch them too often, but I think when you consider Carragher has been doing it for a lot less time than Neville has he is good. I'm expecting him to get better just as Gary Neville got better. I also think Carragher doesn't hold his punches as much as Neville does. I like the two-man team anyway, I think it works.

In mid table I would agree but not at the top or the bottom.

A limit should be introduced on how many players you can loan out whom haven't come through the academy.

I don't think he is better than Gerrard. I think if SAF could have done, he'd have taken Gerrard in his prime over Scholes.

I do agree with that, I don't think Gerrard directly replaces Scholes as they are definitely different players, but I do think Scholes is hugely overrated these days. I think over the next few years, this will end up with people then backlashing against it and underrating him.
