Andy Murray through to the semis of the Madrid Masters beating Milos Raonic 6-4 7-5 and this little unbeaten start to the clay court season goes on. Weird match - Raonic obviously hindered but it made him fire more from the hip. Next up will be either Kei Nishikori or David Ferrer.

I am sure Rafa will be better than this at RG - so who can beat him there? Other than Nole, it will be very very hard.

All in all, reasonably smooth sailing for Rafa so far. He was never threatened on his serve, and took TB comfortably.

Berdych was lucky to win 6 games. He played so so so crap in the set.

Definitely the best I have seen Rafa play this season and probably the best he has played since RG last year. Berdych is hanging in there very well so credit to him but you always get that feeling he will come up short in the end.

I think we can say Rafa is well on the way back. We have seen the return of the down the line winners and seems much more tuned in and confident.
